We had a lovely time . Just the peace and quiet being in the cusp of the busy centre. Literally a five minute walk to all x really lovely , and the staff we met were lovey x

Nothing. Old building , character and creeks but all added to its personality

Pros:

Good location - otherwise adequate but not inspiring

Cons:

The view from our window was completely obscured by an air conditioning unit less than a meter away. (Room 110)

Pros:

Location was lovely

Cons:

I was allocated a room on the third floor. The lift only goes to the second floor and I had to carry my heavy suitcase up the flight of stairs. No offer of assistance was given. Staff when I collected my key and informed of my room stated.. it’s a few steps. It was not a few steps.

Satisfactory
Pros:

Breakfast is good

Cons:

I have stayed in this hotel several times before, but this time the room (Room 301) is really small, with little space for relaxation.

An underwhelming stay in Oxford
Pros:

Well situated within easy walking distance of the centre of Oxford

Cons:

We were told on arrival that we’d been upgraded. Unfortunately that upgrade didn’t extend to either hot water in the bathroom tap or heating in the room. The accommodation can best be described as ‘tired’!

A reasonably priced, central hotel that we'll use again.
Pros:

The hotel is in the centre of Oxford and very close to the Park and Ride bus stops. The shower room was clean with a good heated towel rail. Our room was comfortable with a decent sized wardrobe. The view of Magdalen Tower and blossom trees from our bedroom was beautiful. There was plenty of choice even if one didn't want a cooked breakfast.

Cons:

I prefer a bath to a shower and the basin plug didn't hold water so the tap had to be running the whole time for washing or shaving.

Pros:

Great location

Cons:

There was a sewage smell in the hallways and lobby throughout the stay.
There was a constant sound from the ventilation shafts outside our room, which got louder from around 10 pm. It was like sleeping with a tumble dryer in the room. There was even vibration. The staff knew about the problem as they had been told before.

Pros:

An excellently situated hotel that "does what it says on the tin". Basically adequate and reasonable market value. Quiet and spotlessly clean. Roughly the standard of Premier Inns in general.

Cons:

Typically awful British breakfast, worthy of a motorway stop, but did not expect any better. The steps at the main entrance are a potential hazard. Prefer to go a bit upmarket next time.

Affordable, clean and comfortable stay
Pros:

My room was in the new building across the car park and it was great. Great modern bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The two guests I was travelling with where in the main building, rooms where still good but just not as modern. Breakfast was good and staff where very friendly. Great location for us as it was opposite the examination school.

Cons:

When we stayed in January the restaurant wasn't open for lunch or dinner. We ended up having a takeaway delivered but I'm sure there was plenty of nice places to eat in oxford.

Great position. Friendly staff. Avoid room 110 unless you bring earplugs or are an insomniac
Pros:

I’ve stayed before with no issues.

Cons:

I was in room 110
Everything fine. Until it hit 6.00am and the massive industrial ventilation system outside the windows started vibrating. This made sleeping for me impossible. This will be known by the hotel as it’s a permanent fixture.
Had they said it’s the last room available and it’s discounted because….I could have chosen or not. The fact they let this room for £150 with that noise problem is bad business.
If they let that room constantly without warning customers it’s a pity as everything else was decent.
Buffet breakfast bacon & sausages were fine but cold as the bain marie heating set up wasn’t up to scratch.

Great!
Pros:

Great location. Safe area on a Saturday night (I was in town for a hen do). Professional staff. Very comfortable bed. Lovely decor. Nice toiletries. Good breakfast buffet. And price was really not bad - for this quality and location I felt it was well worth the money.

Cons:

Not much not to like. I suppose the upstairs corridors and stairwell are a bit tired. But who cares? The room and the ground floor were not tired at all. Also, I would have liked to have slippers - even those super thin disposable ones.
