Very nice location, close to most of the Oxford's points of interest. Really beautiful hotel, with multiple classy rooms, old books, and all these things that bring the spirit of Old Oxford. Restaurant is nice, breakfasts are good. Just a tiny tat pricey, and spa is just OK, nothing spectacular. You need to book it in advance, and it's a bit small.
From the moment we booked a business dinner for our international guests, The Randolph Hotel handled everything with impressive professionalism. Taryn from the Sales and Events Team was exceptional - every request and change was dealt with effortlessly.
On arrival, we were warmly welcomed. The concierge team were professional, friendly, and proactive. I especially appreciated that they took care of parking my vehicle in the hotel car park for me, which removed any stress at the start of a busy evening.
We began the evening with a drinks reception in the 'Snug', an elegant and intimate space that set the perfect tone. Dinner followed in the opulent, chandelier‑lit 'Chef’s Table' room for private dining.
You could truly sense the chef’s care in every dish - the presentation was elegant and the flavours beautifully balanced, all complemented by attentive, polished service.
A sincere thank you to Taryn, the concierge team, and the entire staff at The Randolph Hotel for delivering a seamless and thoroughly impressive event.
We would not hesitate to return or recommend The Randolph to anyone seeking a refined, well‑managed venue in Oxford with the objective to impress others.
I had a wonderful experience at the Randolph Graduate Hotel in Oxford. From start to finish, the service was exceptional, and the team made the entire process seamless.
A special thank you to Taryn Ching from the sales team. Her attention to detail was outstanding and truly made everything run smoothly. I also want to highlight Fernanda Harboe, who was exceptional during our meeting event. Her presence made a real difference, and she was greatly missed on the days she was off.
The hotel itself is in a great location, with a beautiful ambience and fantastic people who clearly take pride in what they do.
Thank you for a memorable experience.

Lovely food and venue. Wonderful experience for my birthday.
Service was exceptional and especially good from Arjan and Alpha
The hotel was exceptional. Staff very helpful and attentive
The shower did not heat up for an enjoyable shower, the room was extremely warm which could not be controlled with the thermostat
I had the great pleasure of staying at this hotel recently and aside from the charm of the historic building itself are the incredible staff that ensure your experience is exceptional. For example, Barbara, the over night front desk professional, was there for me when jet lag had the best of me at 4:30 am. She was a welcoming face in the darkest hours, that made fresh coffee and provided human interaction when all else was silent. Thank you for this. The experience will not be forgotten.
It was one of the best staff telma and the rest of the team
Booked an afternoon tea for our Mums 85th Birthday, and we were not Dissapointed!
All staff were first class!
Big shout out to John Burn though.
Before we were leaving, we were looking for some nice photo opportunities for Mum, John saw, and helped us, what a lovely guy, smile, and more than happy to help. John is a true asset to the Randolph!
Waited a week as I was so annoyed at the time seeing a once great hotel going down hill. Prices gone up ridiculously and the great Morse Bar had a queue of 13 for a drink, no table service anymore. The other bar which I can only describe as the American Diner closed!
So had to go out in the rain to a local pub. How a once great hotel has fallen.
Two stars because of the helpfulness of Miki and Paul saved the day, keeping their part of the business to the quality it once was.
Such a shame!
We enjoyed our 2-night stay here very much. Our room was quite comfortable, and we enjoyed a light dinner and drinks in the bar. The central location is convenient to everything we had planned to see, so we could walk to museums, colleges and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.
The Randolph is centrally located in Oxford, convenient to the colleges, museums, restaurants, and shopping. We walked everywhere. Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. Upon arrival, front desk rep, Telma, greeted us with a smile. We discussed our stay, and she offered suggestions about what to do in the city. Waiter, Alpha, at the restaurant helped make our evening meal a special event. All staff from the barkeep to the restaurant hostesses to the porters were attentive and friendly. The Randolph is our future home when we visit Oxford.
Old world glamour with vignettes from history.
Could have had a gym. It is designated as a five star but has no pool or gym
Quintessential English style hotel, cosy, warm and incredible service. The only reason I’m rating it a 4 star is because of the water pressure, that made showering take incredibly long and a tad frustrating.
Gabriel and the team were amazing hosts, no problem was too small and made our stay very memorable. We will be back again x
very polite, amazing, kind, helpful Arjun. Food and service is really really great. 100/100. I love the ambience great drinks and really love the pink seat
