Food fine ,location is where we wanted to be, but room was a massive let down.
Pros:

the Alice restaurant Was good particularly the Romanian Maitre .

Cons:

Room 21 should be closed and used as a boot room or something similar.It is soooo small and cold even with the aircon switched off.One of the worst rooms I have ever had the misfortune to stay in.And I have travelled around the world extensively in my time.

What ever happened to the doorman. Always there and ready to assist. There was no one to be seen inside or outside. Had

Always love the piano room.
Overall I will always return when I can.

Cons:

I feel the Morse bar is used more as a waiting area and it has lost some character which is a shame.

Pros:

Het eten was afschuwelijk. Kregen frietjes en tosti roomservice. Tosti was nog bevroren van binnen. En de frietjes waren al erg afgekoeld bij levering. De verwachtingen waren hoog. Maar de realiteit was erg teleurstellend.

Morse Bar Photos updated since last year. Too busy on Bank holiday.

Cons:

Poor staff communication.
Coffee machine empty in room. Had to complain no help sent until a second call. Coffee machine did not have full instructions on how to fill with water.

Wonderful place to host business event
Pros:

Have our event hosted in Randolph hotel for the second time. Both of our stays here is perfect. Wonderful experience and view of Ashmolean Museum from the Lancaster Room. And also, it is very convenient for us and all our attendees to find the right place because of the central location. Taryn, the event executive, helps us a lot all the time, including the reservation making, setting up and detail communication and so on. It does help us a lot to accommodate any business event.

Worth every penny!
Pros:

I spent an indulgent three nights on a solo trip to Oxford in the wonderful hotel. I booked the hotel because of its location and its links with the Inspector Morse TV shows. There is a quiet grandeur to this hotel. The staff were without exception, warm, friendly and very helpful. I was asking where I could get some toothpaste as I had forgotten mine, within minutes I had a couple of tooth care packs delivered to my room. The room was very large, comfortable and well equipped, with a Nespresso machine, tea, water, biscuits and the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. It was fully airconditioned (controlled within the room) but also had blankets, cushions etc so whatever the weather they had it covered. the bathroom was also very big, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Yes it is expensive, but if you are looking to treat yourself, I would highly recommend it. The locality is perfect for explore all that Oxford has to offer, which is a lot! The Ashmolean museum is directly across the road! I am so glad I went and would go again if money were not an issue. Thank you for a perfect stay!

We loved the hotel-great location, lovely staff and food, and we would return.
Pros:

Room was lovely but would have liked the option of a bath. Breakfast was of a high standard and our dinner was also very good. Location really good-especially for the Ashmolean and the theatre etc

Cons:

No bath. The cost of valet overnight parking was high and our car was covered in bird poo when we had it returned. We felt this should have been cleaned off as the price was high.

A relaxing comfortable stay and would definitely go back, highly recommend.
Pros:

The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet even though I was in a room at the front of the hotel facing the Ashmolean museum. The hotel in general was exceptionally clean. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. It is in an ideal location and all the main attractions and sights are within walking distance. I loved the cosy Morse bar.

Cons:

The food could have been better.
