1st floor courtyard room rather noisy on first evening due to function below, otherwise all fine, though would have preferred to be further along the corridor. On departure, enquiring about bathroom facilities, I found you have rooms with baths, not just showers, so will remember to book one when I next visit. Breakfast, as always, was a treat with your wide range of choice. Location of hotel is ideal base for visiting the many attractions in Salisbury and the neighbouring area, whether on foot or by transport, public or private.
Nothing comes to mind - except that, as an elderly visitor to an elderly hotel, I need to remember where the floor passages are uneven and contain small steps in the upstairs corridor - but that is just part of the charm of staying in a place that fits so well in a beautiful city like Salisbury.
We travelled for a very important funeral of the our dear friend, 105yr old, oldest Royal Marine left. We knew it would be busy, so we booked the White Hart Hotel for the location and parking. There was also a disabled access apartment which is great for wheelchair users which my parents used, whilst 2 of us stayed in rooms in the hotel. Breakfast was a huge choice and well presented, cereals and fruit laid out on a circular table. Evening meal was very good. Staff polite at all times and nothing was too much trouble. Very rare these days. Keep up the good work.
I have requested that hand rails be placed in the showers and also those with a shower over the bath. Disabled bathroom was brilliant surrounding the toilet area, wet shower area just lacks grab rails which I explained to the hotel when we left and reception was pleased with the feed back.
Little bit disappointed with breakfast food quality, however this didn't affect our stay much. Our very large comfy bed was actually 2 pushed together, which we found out the hard way lol! Overall, lovely place with friendly staff. Would stay again.
Great location. Lovely old building jn centre of town.
Insufficient parking (event in the restaurant on Friday evening). Very loud music from pub across the road till midnight
Excellent location and staff went beyond.
The bathroom sink took a very long time to drain.
