Good spa treatment, nice quiet room. excellent location
The bath did not have a proper plug so could not have a bath
The location is great. And staff friendly
The hotel is in desperate need of TLC it’s scruffy and tired. The photographs of the hotel are clearly edited dramatically to make it look better than it is. The hotel pool is filthy I wouldn’t use it, the gym equipment is rusty. The breakfast is the worst I’ve ever seen. There was NO fruit! Only dried up croissants the cooked breakfast dripped in grease.
Not a 4 star hotel
Very good location for the centre of Stratford Upon Avon. Friendly, helpful staff
Fab location for the town & river.
The restaurant was lovely and set out for cosy privacy. Fab snug to relax in & the place was set out well so it felt quiet mostly.
The rooms are too warm & the air cooler doesn’t.
The bedroom doors bang every time someone goes in & out which disturbs into the night.
Breakfast choice poor. Limited fruit on cold buffet. Add on charges for most hot breakfast
Very close to town centre so good location
Didn’t like tea option and there wasn’t much there
Loved this hotel second time to stay here.
Staff very attentive- room spotlessly clean -
Bar staff Craig and Michael very attentive.
Reception staff very helpful too
The room was noisy in the mornings - we were near to cleaning store .
Corridors could be a little noisy too.
Quaint. Characterful. Double room was large enough. Leisure facilities were an added bonus.
No lift to get to second floor. Noisy radiators not just in our room but also in other guests rooms as we overheard others mentioning it during breakfast.
The history of it
And the location
Nothing
We were in town for a trip to the RSC theatre on our wedding anniversary. we asked for a quiet room, which was exactly what we got. Room 121 was great for us. The king size bed was very comfy. A small box of chocs was left as welcome gift in room which was a nice touch. Thank you.
Good parking
The breakfast could have been better
