Good breakfast and clean facilities
Size and facility
It was fine
Location ideal in impressive grounds.
The rooms are now becoming a little tired. Air conditioning not working so room was far too hot. No longer provide water for the room. Bed was uncomfortable. Fridge has been removed.
I stayed in the single room, which was amazing as it's in the proper old manor house - really nice perk.
Hotel is beautiful, it's a stunning grounds and very comfortable lounge area.
Right in stratford upon Avon, very central location
The facilities were a bit lacking, so for example there was no shampoo or body wash in the bedroom. Not even those big bottles a lot of hotels use now. I found this odd as they provide that in the swimming pool? Also they didn't provide a fan. I understand not having air con, but in a historic heatwave, in rooms with small windows, a little fan would have helped a lot as sleeping was difficult
Also, Id say 90% of the rooms are in the new large extension. It's all very well done, but if you want to stay in an old English manor there are a lot in the area, while this is a more standard hotel (unless you get lucky like I did with my single room)
Great location
Very tired . Rooms far too hot
The facilities were great especially the pool we will be going back at some stage
It is very close to the town walking distance, and the staff were really good
That we couldn't stay longer due to having car mot definitely be going back
Nice big comfy bed, good that it had a swimming pool and sauna, parking was fine. Great location - easy to walk into town. Spacious room.
The room was not clean - hairs everywhere particularly in the bathroom. Air con was broken so the room was unbearable in the heat and when I told the receptionist she grumpily told me there was nothing she could do to get it fixed or move me that day. The staff were grumpy, I don't remember get a smile out of anyone. I didn't eat there but drinks were very expensive and if I had had breakfast it would have been £24! Room was a little noisy in the morning as I could hear a lot going on outside, even with the window closed.
Location to Stratford town centre and theatre
Very noisy air conditioning unit even when turned off which started at 5am so didn’t sleep
Staff not really very friendly or welcoming
The hotel was really good. Room 12 was enjoyable.
However, the food was not good. Breakfast overcooked bacon, sausage and watery natural yogurt.
The Fried Haddock needs a note on menu to say it will be cooked with the skin on so you have an option.
Not much as just wanted to sleep.
Couldn't sleep at the hotel have decided to turn off the air con and it was too hot. When asked about this one staff member claimed that the air con is actually a heating system, and some rooms have air con whereas others don't and another staff member claimed the air con was turned off to save money. Whatever the truth is, the whole point of a hotel is to be able to sleep.
Location, staff, gardens. Almost perfect if not for noise
Every 30 mins there was 1 min of very loud noise like an aircraft taking off in the room. It was all through the night

Cleanliness
Staff were friendly and attentive
Paying for parking - it should be included in your stay
Staff excellent very welcoming and helpful everywhere you went in the hotel , perfect spot for visiting Stratford as just a few minutes walk to town and riverside , our room had air conditioning which was very welcome.
Breakfast Buffett was ok. For the amount of people it serves the area for the food service felt small and cramped , could be better laid out and more accessible . The staff there were again great .
Emplacement, restaurant, environnement
La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas dans notre chambre. L'accueil que nous avons contacté a pris cette information a la légère et n'a rien fait. Nous étions en pleine canicule @
