Hotel was tired and dated
carpets repaired with grey tape
wall coverings damaged
the rooms were dated there were no power sockets next to our beds
No aircon
they charged us £145 room only and then wanted another £15 for car parking. absolute racket
The communal areas where great, looked and felt great. Everyone outside the hotel room was nice
It was one of the hottest days and the room was an oven. No air-conditioning available.
There was a fridge but it was hot to the touch inside. I asked the staff to change it but was told it was brand new. When I pointed out that a new fridge would not be so dirty, I was asked to bring my bottles of water to the kitchen area where there is a fridge that everyone has access too.
Dye to the lack of food safety in that area, I had to decline.
Not sure how people who were elderly would have managed.
More care and attention is needed while cleaning the room. Bathroom really needs attention by a cleaning team using cleaning cloths not toilet paper to clean bathroom areas.
Está en el mismo centro de Winchester, mejor imposible . Para ir de formación y trabajo que es a lo que fui , está genial .
El desayuno es muy básico, yo porque siempre iba con prisa pero el desayuno no merece la pena pagarlo.

Cleaner room, no air con only a fan... bed not comfortable
Many stays here due to location, comfort.
Restaurant and bar useless.
Reception staff were very hard to find
The bedroom air-conditioning was very quiet and effective
Location
Completely run down in need of some serious money spending on it, no aircon, bedroom was unbelievably hot so barely slept.
No tea or coffee in room no air conditioning no fans
Location
Bathroom dirty. The shelf under mirror i could write "dirty" in, as it was think was dust or dried toothpaste.
Extractor fan in Bathroom working. LIGHTING FITTING LOOKED LIJE DAMP ISSUE.
At breakfast I asked for and got a full refund for my £14.25. Because I had to complain to the waiter and then to the receptionist that that was no hot water fir making tea or coffee. I was told maintenance man had been called. I had to tell both the waiter and receptionist to get a kettle from a room ,( there must be over 300 kettles in the building). so we the guest could make our own coffee and tea. Which eventually happened.
No air-con just a noisy fan. Which had to be turned off.
Close to everything that we needed. Was staying for the weekend. Reception staff were polite.
Settee in room had a tear on the arm. Dripping water tap. Thick dust behind behind bed which we had to move to make 2 singles. And thick dust on pictures and tv toilet dirty..
Old style charm
Room was like a sauna all night, no cooling, windows opened a crack. Baked.
Then to discover breakfast ' available' doesn't mean included
Absolutely nothing. It looks old and tired.
They overbooked my hotel and cancelled my and my colleague’s rooms when we arrived at 8pm without prior notification, leaving a poor receptionist to deal with disgruntled guests. I did not raise my voice once but she still ended up in tears, telling me I couldn’t speak to her manager as he wasn’t taking calls. Absolutely appalling service and appalling way to treat staff
Cercanía a la catedral y al centro . Tenía parking
Habitación sin aire acondicionado. No había botellas de agua ni heladera en la habitación.
Proximity to centre of city
Very outdated rooms needing a huge update. The first night I was in an old
Room. Hottest night of the year. No aircon. Fans in the room but no sockets at the bedside so had to get extension lead. Turned on the fan and showered with dust. Bathroom looked dirty. Toilet looked soiled even though it wasn’t. Poor lighting. Luckily a very nice man called Steve listened to me and the next day arranged a new room with aircon. If not for that i would have left and looked for a new hotel. Breakfast very poor quality food
