But most of the buffet breakfast wasn’t there ( no eggs , butter for toast . and no one to really ask .
Very close to the city centre, parking available on site.
The parking for the hotel is pricey, although it is the cheapest for 24 hours,”. Both the rain fall shower and shower head were not powerful enough for long hair washing and the shower leaked on to the floor.
It was quite noisy from about 6am on a Saturday morning.
Was nice and comfortable, great location for the cathedral. Everyone was so nice
On booking, it said the breakfast was 17.50 for breakfast buffet. As some who only has a coffee and fruit salad or toast. I thought I'd ask at the property, if there was a light breakfast option. The reception, said that was the only option available. So we decided to pass on breakfast thinking we could go out. However in the morning I asked the guy in the restaurant about it and he said yes there is a continental option. For 10 50. Although this was still a tad expensive. We went for it. Also paying in the restaurant was cheaper than pre-ordering through reception. This was not advertised anywhere. .
I appreciated the nice touch of the towel arrangement on the bed and hand written note (and chocolate bar). Seems like somebody is making an effort.

It's a fairly tired property, not quite shabby but getting there.
Room was OK
No information in the room about anything - could have included a menu for the restaurant, openinig times etc. Only 2 teabags so we had to ask for more and felt they were given grudgingly.
Breakfast was barely adequate - overcooked bacon, tired cheese slices, wrak coffee.
Very comfortable room with excellent views of the Cathedral as requested.

Not particularly clean. The duvet didn't fit the bed.
Fantastic location right next to Cathedral & short walk to bars & restaurants.
Bed was a very small double , Only 4 hangers in wardrobe . Room could have used a good clean & it all looked a bit 1980s
