Over priced and in need of refurbishment
Pros:

Location is all this has to offer The hotel is very run down so improvements since we visited last year. Staff are helpful

Cons:

Needs refurbishing, damaged furniture, window wasn’t fastened properly and had a gap letting cold air missing the safety latch
No gluten free bread available this year for breakfast and no allergen signs on buffet

Excellent hotel in convenient location
Pros:

I had booked a small room but was upgraded to a much larger one without charge. Very comfortable and well furnished. Location of the hotel is ideal, in the centre of the city and close to the cathedral, and very quiet.
I didn't have any meals so cannot comment on them.

Cosy, central hotel

Cons:

Room was cold and barely warmed up when the heater was turned on. Even the shower temperature was only moderately warm when turned up full.

The view from the window and the large bed . The staff were friendly

Cons:

The sink was nearly blocked. There's a need for an update of the bathroom and toilet. Some of the sockets didn't seem to work well.

Comfort room is not suitable for 2 adults - bed shoved up against a wall. Hotel needs some modernization, car parking is expensive and not very good, lucky to get a space. Smells a bit musty.

A comfortable nights stay.
Pros:

This was a bed only stop as we only had one night. It was warm and comfortable with good bathroom facilities

Great location
Pros:

Location was fantastic and room was lovely with a great view of the cathedral. Breakfast was nice.

Cons:

Hardly anyone else staying at the hotel and had a meal in the restaurant (only ones in there) then went to the bar where workers were drilling and banging, taking part of the floor up 9pm…Couldn’t get away from the noise. Check in was 3.30 but I had sent a message asking for early check in, but room wasn’t ready. Went for a walk and came back at 4.30 and still wasn’t ready. Couldn’t understand this as apparently there were only 10 others staying in the hotel
