Under the present circumstances all your staff did the very best they could. Well done!
Great location with a friendly staff. Close to shops, restaurants, pubs and steps away from Windsor Castle. Be aware the changing of the guard happens Tuesday, Thursday, and ?. If you are arriving by Taxi make sure the company is aware of this as High Street shuts down. The changing of the guard is a great tradition and spectacle that must be seen. The hotel is close to various transportation options and is located in a very walkable neighbourhood. The room was clean, reasonably quiet except for one night and fairly comfortable. The planes that fly overhead enroute to Heathrow do not fly all night. We didn't find them an issue. The people in the room above were an issue.
Large reno underway. We didn't get to experience the hotel at it's very best..There were times that the hot water at the sink and shower vanished. Part of the reno? A hotel should not run out of hot water. If you cannot use stairs make sure you get a room that is accessible by lift.
They are under going renovation at the moment so I guess we didn’t get the full experience at the moment but did what the could to make up for tge inconvenience
Renovations. But I’m sure it will be excellent once finished!
Friendly staff and location
Location
Most of the hotel is a big construction site
The location. The determination of the Staff to work through the problems of the building site!
150 guests for pre dinner drinks. TWO barmen. One was very experienced the other whilst working hard had no clue about what was on offer, how to work POS system.
The staff was fantastic! So accommodating and helpful. Always going above and beyond for our comfort.
It was under renovation, so some services were unavailable, but the staff did everything they could to minimize the effects of the renovation on the guests.
Excellent location,
The room was very clean, tidy and comfortable. Although the main hotel building was being renovated, we stayed in the newer part of the hotel where the accommodation was excellent. The staff were friendly, professional and very courteous. We are looking forward to seeing how beautiful the completed renovations will be.
I wasn't told about the renovations until after I had booked and paid. The car parking was surprisingly expensive.
Property was in an awesome location and the rooms were in good condition.
They had a hidden fee of 30 pounds per day for parking. I wasn’t aware so that increased the price of our stay more than I expected.
The location is good
We were told of the renovations, but having booked a year in advance in preparation for our daughter’s wedding, it was very disappointing to have such upheaval. The worst thing was there was no hot water and all the staff could say was probably everyone wanted a shower. Very unacceptable! For an expensive hotel , it was a very disappointing stay
Convenient, beautiful, clean, high level
Nothing
It is very central
There is refurbishment going on. Had to carry my luggage two floors down and not all facilities are available. Room was average
Nothing
I booked accommodation 21-22 Feb, approx 6 weeks before we were due to arrive the hotel rang me and cancelled my booking as the hotel was closing that weekend due to refurbishment. I had to make alternative arrangements but they still charged me £372 which they are refusing to refund.
