My stay was adequate for a nights stay

Lovely staff excellent breakfasts clean room, however the bathroom was a big let down, shower didnt work property, i couldn’t have a shave the sink didn't have a plug and no running hot water in the sink.the toilet was extremely high , and the safety handle on the shower wall was quite loose

Could have done with a night drink sachet like hot chocolate and a biscuit complimentary in room.
Staff excellent. Comfy room and quiet. Excellent breskfast choice.

Arrival staff very efficient and friendly. Breakfast staff also very friendly and helpful.
Room was clean when we arrived, but as we stayed for 2 nights, there was no cleaning. On the first morning. Only milk replaced. Cups not washed, and tea bags not replenished.

Friendly and helpful staff, managed to get checked in and parked a couple of hours before check in time which was really helpful

Everything good apart from the pillows. We asked for the alternative pillows but they didn’t have any available.

Booked a king room but noticed on arrival that the duvet was only a double in a king cover, mentioned to reception and told one would be sorted as they do have them, when it arrived it was just the same so ended up having to use 2 duvets to cover the bed…did tell reception again but no change. Breakfast good variety and catered for lactose free which was good, just a shame about the bedding outcome.

Staff were attentive, efficient and friendly. My stay was everything I would expect from a Holiday Inn.

The staff are very helpful. The breakfast was poor in that there was no decaffeinated coffee, they had poached eggs on the menu but there weren’t any and there was no brown bread only malted.

Second time staying here, slightly dated hotel however super comfortable beds, very helpful staff not a bad thing to say !! 100% recommend staying here. We got a complementary breakfast which was delicious. ( Birthday)

45 minute walk into town centre.
Two local pubs near by.
Garage/ off licence near by.
Good Parking.

Hotel is dated and looks dirty. Beds very uncomfortable. Breakfast was ok. Nothing was worth the money this hotel charges at. Airbnb next time!

Clean and comfortable room, walked to the races

Breakfast was amazing Out of the 4 hotels we used this week. This was by far the best .

We will be looking to raise a complaint about the hotel stay. The room on arrival smelt so badly of stale smoke. It was too late for us to speak to reception and change rooms as we have children who weee tired and wanted to sleep.

There were cigarette butts in the window frame and ash all along the window as well.

Will be looking for a refund for this stay as our clothes for our holiday then all smelt
And we have no way of washing them

Right by the race course, with plenty of parking. Decent Holiday Inn hotel.
