Pros:

Easy parking and good breakfast as always

Cons:

Rooms in need of a makeover. The TV had to be fixed in the power cycle and replug the coax cable into the wall socket. Good job I work in 5-6 star hotels maintenance so I fixed myself.

Cant fault it at all. I went in thinking it may be a little below expectations as its a holiday inn on a motorway, but it was a great place to stay. We extended by a night. Lovely staff, really really smiley and welcoming. Decent size room as we were travelling with teenagers and we didnt feel ay all cramped. Yummy breakfast' nicely decorated at right temp. Nothing to complain about at all.

Without doubt because of its position and particularly its comfort and convenient I will be staying many more times
Pros:

Conveniently situated; a perfect halfway stop for me. And silent inside, despite the volume of traffic outside. The breakfasts are excellent, with a good choice available. And good coffee.

Cons:

The halloumi wrap I chose for a light dinner had no more than 4 of the thinnest smallest pieces of halloumi, VERY disappointing, with a tiny scrape of chilli and only tiny torn pieces of lettuce within.
A bowl of manufactured supermarket chips was brought (which I didn’t order but which I ate because there was so little halloumi)
BUT they were NOT the delicious “skin on fries” as shown on the menu. We should receive what is advertised on the menu I think.
I was too tired to complain.
At £13, I expected this wrap to be well filled particularly as halloumi was supposed to be the “first ingredient”.
Please note: I have eaten other meals at this holiday Inn and they have been good.
