Vacances en Polynésie
Pros:

On logeait dans une villa sur pilotis avec piscine en bout de ponton. La situation est magnifique et la vue splendide. La villa est très confortable.

Cons:

Globalement, les prestations ne sont pas à la hauteur de cette catégorie d’établissement. De plus, pour des prix aussi élevés le service devrait être irréprochable.

Pros:

everything — the staff, the room, and the restaurants. everyone was very friendly and attentive, the room was comfortable and beautifully maintained, and the restaurants offered delicious food and service.

Cons:

check-in is only available from 4:00 pm. we arrived at 9:00 am and had to wait until 3:00 pm for our room. we understand that early check-in cannot always be guaranteed, but there should be a better solution for guests arriving early.

Stunning Setting, Disappointing Service
Pros:

Our bungalow was amazing and the resort itself is beautiful
The bar for sunset/at night is amazing, staff is attentive and very good
Good breakfast buffet but the coffee was bad except for the Iced Latte which was drinkable

Cons:

Terrible service! Poorly trained staff, not a lot of food choices between the lunch and dinner menus and the Asian set menus at their signature restaurant was disappointing
It’s Bora Bora and you pay for the name but it’s very overpriced

Pros:

Gentilezza, comfort, posizione, camere moderne

Cons:

Necessari lavori di manutenzione, sono stati fatti errori nel servizio non ammissibili per una struttura di questo livello (siamo stati portati in una camera non nostra al primo giorno per poi portarci alla nostra di fianco e lasciarci senza chiavi, ci hanno portato una bottiglia di champagne in mezzo al soggiorno per poi riprendersela (era la bottiglia di benvenuto di un’altra stanza), etc

Estadia perfeita no paraíso
Pros:

Os quartos são lindos e renovados, a localização é incrível, com uma das melhores vistas para a montanha. Muita organização nos transferes de e para o aeroporto. A simpatia dos funcionários. A comida. Tudo perfeito

Pros:

Vista sublime, camere moderne e pulite, spiaggia e lagunetta interna meravigliose, attività e escursioni organizzate molto bene pur appoggiandosi a operatori esterni, palestra ottima

Cons:

Struttura molto grande e dispersiva che rende necessario utilizzo di bici non sempre in condizioni perfette. Staff estremamente cortese, ma non sempre all’altezza della situazione. Ristoranti e cibo in generale non al livello. Colazione scadente. Concierge poco reattivo: ci è stata cancellata per maltempo un’escursione e non hanno avuto la premura di chiedere se la volessimo ripetere in un altro giorno.
In generale, non una bella esperienza e molto lontano da uno standard 5 stelle lusso quale si atteggia di essere

Très bon séjour globalement très agréable
Pros:

Tout de la gentillesse du staff à l’hôtel qui est neuf et très confortable
La conciergerie organise à merveille l’ensemble des activités et fait preuve d’un conseil efficace

Cons:

À part le petit déjeuner, le repas ne sont pas à la hauteur de ce genre d’établissement. 3 personnes vous demandent la même chose et finalement ce qui arrive n’est pas ce qui a été commandé.

Posizione eccezionale, servizi non all’altezza
Pros:

Il resort è in una posizione eccellente cosi come tutti gli altri resort che condividono la stessa “area” di laguna, con il monte Otemanu esattamente di fronte e una laguna circostante bellissima (caratteristica di Bora Bora). Ovviamente gode di tutte le comodità di un resort di questo livello.

Cons:

Il resort è molto costoso. Il personale polinesiano è molto cortese ma lo stesso non si può dire di quello francese. La sensazione è di essere trattati come un numero. La mattina a colazione abbiamo dovuto fare 15 minuti di fila prima di essere accomodati. La camera è relativamente piccola, confrontata con altri hotel dello stesso tipo, e il bagno praticamente non esiste. Le luci di emergenza notturne rendono la camera perennemente illuminata. La laguna dell’hotel è priva di pesci per cui non vi è possibilità di fare snorkeling.

A little piece of paradise
Pros:

The Westin Bora Bora Resort and Spa is a little piece of paradise. White sand beaches, warm blue water and exceptional overwater bungalows to stay in were just superb. The buffet breakfast was amazing with everything from fresh croissants and fruit to French toast and waffles. All the staff are so friendly and attentive. We even spotted a sea turtle in the lagoon!

Cons:

An afternoon yoga class (instead of just an early morning class) would have been nice.

* Resort nuovo e molto curato, con strutture moderne e piacevoli.
* Pulizia generale ottima.
* Colazione e cena fenomenali, probabilmente uno dei punti forti del soggiorno.
* Ampia scelta di escursioni e attività, utile per organizzare facilmente le giornate.

Cons:

* Manca una courtesy room dopo il check-out. Se si vuole rimanere in spiaggia fino alla partenza, l’unica soluzione proposta è utilizzare le docce della piscina. Per un resort di questa categoria mi aspettavo un servizio più adeguato.
* Scarsa attenzione ai dettagli e alla gestione degli imprevisti. In alcune occasioni è mancata rapidità nel trovare una soluzione, la gestione delle escursioni potrebbe essere più efficiente e anche la pulizia, pur essendo complessivamente ottima, non è sempre stata impeccabile. Per esempio, una volta è stato dimenticato un prodotto per la pulizia all’interno del bagno.
* Gestione poco elegante del late check-out. Ci sono stati concessi soltanto 30 minuti aggiuntivi, ma circa 10 minuti prima dell’orario concordato il personale si è comunque presentato per liberare la camera. Più che il limite di tempo in sé, ha dato l’impressione di una scarsa coordinazione interna.
* La borsa regalo prevista non ci è stata consegnata al check-in, un dettaglio piccolo ma poco coerente con il livello del resort.

Magnifique !
Pros:

L’emplacement et les infrastructures sont tout simplement exceptionnels. Tout est pensé pour donner envie de profiter pleinement du resort sans même avoir besoin d’en sortir. La salle de sport est excellente, tout comme les restaurants et les bars. La qualité des installations et des services est vraiment top. Un cadre exceptionnel.

Cons:

Pour un hôtel de ce standing, j’ai toutefois été étonnée par plusieurs petits contretemps et par certains services qui n’étaient pas proposés. Par exemple, je n’ai pas pu bénéficier d’un transfert entre le port et le resort, alors que ce service existe depuis l’aéroport, et l’hôtel n’a pas pu réserver un taxi pour moi, même à mes frais. Il y a également eu quelques hésitations dans l’organisation d’une excursion ou pour certaines demandes de service.
Le point très positif est que le personnel est à l’écoute, disponible et cherche réellement à trouver des solutions. Les petits problèmes ont donc généralement été résolus. Mais pour un établissement de ce niveau et à ce niveau de prix, on s’attend justement à ce que tout soit fluide et anticipé, sans avoir à signaler les difficultés ou à intervenir pour trouver une solution.
