Excellent
Pros:

Everything from start to finish was excellent. The reception staff were lovely and friendly and welcoming and informative. The room was great. The pool facilities were a great bonus. The staff at breakfast were all lovely and friendly and super efficient at clearing up and checking that everything was ok. Location was perfect for us as we had a dog in a vets locally so the pool and sauna was a very welcome distraction and the whole stay couldn’t have been easier or better. Thank you.😊

Only nit picking, I stay here regularly, but lighting in the bath room could be better, to dark to shave !!

Get what you pay for - lovely staff but property is not what it was

Bed was really old and uncomfortable - dussapointung as have stayed here lots before - also food offering is not great except breakfast

Great location, welcome, rooms and value just off M5 at Taunton
Pros:

Location and the friendly welcome.
Rooms are large, comfortable and good value

Cons:

Nothing really, pillows could be little more quality and lighting in bathroom is too dark for me, while I am trying to shave. But other than that always happy with the venue at Taunton.

stayed there before and will do again in the future

Cons:

we could not get a coffee at the bar area, as the coffee machine was not working, but there are 2 in the restaurant, but was not offered coffee from there, and while sat in lounge we noticed people waiting to get a table for dinner but no staff available as they were busy talking in staff area behind the bar, this happened quite a few times, that was the only thing negative about this stay.

Pros:

General happiness of staff.
Attitude towards dogs. They have dog meals available. I wish all Holiday Inns provided the same service. (I was told most do)

Cons:

Bath with shower over it. My partner has mobility issues and couldn't get into shower. She does not like baths.

Excellent stay
Pros:

The staff went above and beyond for my sisters wedding. Vicki and her daughter were incredibly supportive throughout the wedding day. The hotel public spaces, rooms and beds were excellent
