Good hotel. Friendly staff.
Pros:

A stop-off on our way to Devon. Staff were proffesional, helpful and efficient. Room was clean and bed comfy.
Restaurant was fine. Staff friendly. Pretty basic menu.
Spa facilities ok. Clean.

Brilliant location and staff
Pros:

Convenient location. Friendly staff. Food wasn't the best but we only had bar food so not a reflection on all food. Breakfast was OK but cappuccino from machine wasn't good.
Room was a bit tired but facilities were good and bed was comfy.

Cons:

Bar food. Chips were cold and hard.

Apart from the restaurant issue with dinner, everything was just as we wanted.
Pros:

Nice room next to rest of our party, with everything we needed. Good leisure facilities, especially pool and jacuzzi. Excellent breakfast choice and service. Near to park and ride bus stop which we used to get into town and back - maybe advertise this facility more.

Cons:

Very poor dinner service on the first evening. We waited an hour for our main course: we were a party of 6 and there were only 3 tables occupied in the restaurant. No apologies or explanation for the wait. One persons meal was poorly prepared and she complained at the time. Puddings were also slow to arrive and in all it took over two hours for us to have our meal. The second night we went out to eat.

Very good facilities of a good standard.
Cons:

Double bed in easy access room was supposed to be a king size but we didn't think it was. Would have preferred two singles but this was not an option

The whole building smelt musty. My room smelt like a drain. Everything is tired.

Only OK
Pros:

They had no restaurant open our first evening, which is not really acceptable. Also on Saturday when we return from a motorcycle trip our gloves were wet, I asked was there any place we could dry them out, I got a blank no 🥲
