Location was very good
The room we paid for was an executive with the balcony however it was interconnecting room and the next door were very loud. Also there was something wrong with the air-conditioning or something upstairs and the noise was like a motor off and on all evening. Also our balcony that we paid extra for was very small and also next to a communal area and we had a lot of noise that evening from party across the way very disappointed.
The location was great, the employees that we spoke to were nice, mostly. Good value, there are facilities but didn't get the opportunity to use them.
One morning I went to ask for coffee and brown sugar and the receptionist said they didn't have any and rolled her eyes. Large amounts of children, this massively impacted our stay as they weren't being kept and eye on, and they were going up and down in elevators, running through the halls at night, when mentioned just received a 'well that's kids' response. Also meant we didn't get to use the facilities which we booked this hotel for, sadly.
The air con didn't really work, the light over the bath kept flickering and made me have a seizure, in a mobility accessible room. When mentioned this also didn't seem to bother the person I spoke to.
Think this is probably due to it being busy at the time maybe? However am disappointed as this was me and my FH's first trip away since I completed chemotherapy and surgery.
Swimming pool sauna friendly atmosphere
Spacious family corner room.
Complementary water and chocolates in the fridge.
Air con could have been better.
Quality of breakfast could have been better for the price paid.
Love the hotel, have stayed on a few occasions
On returning to the hotel at around 2am I was quizzed by a woman at reception as to whether I had booked a single occupancy or for two people, was booked for me and my son, but she thought something funny was going on and said we had to stay in reception whilst our room terms were checked, soured the whole stay
Friendly clean comfy bed

Good location. Reception area clean and tidy. Staff friendly
My recent stay at IHG Milton Keynes was disappointing, especially considering the brand’s usual standards. Room cleanliness was the biggest issue.
The bathroom felt dated, the shower curtain had clearly seen better days, and—most concerning—there was a bra under the chair, which made it obvious the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. I wasn’t the only one. Our group had around four rooms with similar stories: clothing left behind, plastic bags behind curtains, and general signs of rushed housekeeping. When we reported this to reception, the staff were sympathetic and offered loyalty points, which was appreciated, but it didn’t change the overall experience. Breakfast was another let‑down.
The selection was limited, and when we asked about vegetarian options, we were told that what was out was all that was available. This turned out to be untrue, as someone in our group was later given vegetarian sausages. Overall, I’d rate the stay 2⭐, purely because the cleanliness issues overshadowed everything else and left me feeling the room hadn’t been properly prepared.
No sauna
From the second we walked in the staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly! We got an early check in from 11.30am which was totally unexpected, and then reception organised a late check out at 1pm which was fantastic! The room was gorgeous, the balcony area was an added bonus and was great to sit on in the afternoon. Everything in the room was spotless and perfect! Showered and sat on the balcony in my robe and slippers provided by the hotel before going down to the restaurant for lunch. Can't wait to stay again!
Only thing I would recommend, just from a woman's point of view is, it would have been nice to have a mirror and a plug socket at the desk where there is a chair to do my hair and makeup before going out. The long mirror by the door is great but would have loved to sit at the desk and get ready.
Very clean and room was spacious and very comfortable staff were helpful and friendly
