Room fine. Lovely building. Great staff and wonderful food ( albeit a bit pricey).
Sadly the promised air conditioning didn’t deliver. The room we were in (401) was unbearably hot. The ancient air conditioning was pathetic. On complaining at reception a fan was provided all that did was circulate hot air and generate noise.

Beautiful hotel building, grand staircase and massive corridors. Lovely rooms as well of course.

As always staff extremely friendly and helpful, I asked for a softer pillow which housekeeping popped in about 10 mins later
