Overall everything went smoothly from lady at front desk to the lady keeping breakfast stocked. Everyone super friendly.
Pros:

It was clean, updated, had a decent breakfast

Cons:

Bedroom seem to be updated but bathroom was very small. Hate the shorter toilets

The hotel and staff were great but put the coffee back in the room.
Pros:

The property was clean and comfortable and the location was great with good dining options.

Cons:

We don’t like the trend of removing the coffee in the room. I like being able to get somethings done before heading to a coffee station in the lobby.

Ok stay
Pros:

We stayed here to be close to New River Gorge National Park. It was a convenient location with lots of parking and food options. The staff here were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

We found the beds very hard, stiff, and uncomfortable. The bathrooms were pretty small. Breakfast was just ok too. There were such limited options for food that we skipped it the second day.

The floor was wet and there was a strong smell of old carpet. Additionally, the elevator appeared to be very old and I did not feel safe using it.

Mandy geeft het Hotel een plus. Niet best western zelf
Pros:

Bij binnenkomst was daar Mandy. Ze oogt misschien wat onvriendelijk, maar tegendeel is waar. Niets was teveel en totaal zichzelf. Dat maakt alles net iets beter. Kinderen wilde graag zwemmen, maar we dachten dat ze hier geen zwembad hadden omdat we dit nergens uit de foto's konden halen. Er bleek om het hoekje een buitenbad. Weliswaar wel wat koud, maar dat kwam misschien ook door de vele regenval en dat de zon weg was.

Cons:

We kregen een kamer op de 4de verdieping. Omdat het de laatste tijd behoorlijk geregend had kwam het misschien daardoor dat we het gevoel hadden dat de kamer vochtig aan voelde. Heb m'n best gedaan om dit door wat te spelen met airco beter te krijgen, maar dit voelde niet echt comfortabel. Raam kan ook niet open, dus even doorluchten zit er niet bij.
