I will think twice before booking Sheridan again.
Pros:

Staff was very helpful and respectful

Cons:

Elevator not working and didn’t feel safe with doors wide open to anyone who walks in. I had stayed in Sheridan in LA prior to coming to SF so decided to book the same. Very scary experience

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. It is walking distance to the shopping mall.
Pros:

Excellent room service and front desk staff.

Cons:

Did not get Marriott points due to booking thru booking.com

Hotel was mediocre at best. Will not stay again.
Pros:

They apparently "upgraded" us to an ADA room -- I guess in some people's minds that is an upgrade. The room was large, but weirdly, poorly arranged.

Cons:

The bathroom had no mirror. The bed was TOO soft, almost squishy. The room was so close to the freeway we heard freeway noise all night long. I guess that was the "upgrade?" Being closer to the freeway? (We had a room closest to the freeway.) There was no refrigerator in the room.

Needs transparency about the bar and restaurant and fix the elevator and rooms

No elevator, no restaurant, no bar, ended up with a 3rd floor room- acoustic falling off ceiling in bedroom. Staff was great.

The attitude from the front desk receptionists. We are Hispanics and as soon as another couple checked in, they dismissed us, and we still had some questions. It was as we were not guests in the hotel.

Buen hotel, pero mala experiencia por falla en los elevadores de 6 días.
Pros:

En general, ofrece una buena relación calidad-precio. El personal de recepción y en general, todo el personal es muy amable. Las habitaciones son cómodas y la limpieza se hace todos los días. El baño es moderno y funcional. El desayuno es muy bueno.

Cons:

El día que llegamos (19 de diciembre), sólo funcionaba uno de los dos elevadores, al día siguiente se descompuso el único elevador que funcionaba, por lo que todos los huéspedes tuvimos que subir y bajar por las escaleras de emergencia. Dejamos el hotel el día 25 de diciembre, y durante casi 6 días no pudieron reparar ninguno de los elevadores. Si tomamos en cuenta que es un hotel de 7 pisos y que las escaleras desembocan al exterior (donde te mojas siempre que llueve), no es un problema menor. Por nuestras actividades, mi esposo y yo tuvimos que subir y bajar las escaleras, por lo menos unas 4 veces cada día, lo cual resultó bastante molesto. Entiendo que es una eventualidad y que no se puede calificar a un establecimiento por un incidente, pero fue un incidente que duró, al menos 6 días y que denota falta de atención de la persona encargada del mantenimiento.
