Very nice…once you’re inside.
Pros:

It was a super hot August day in Bakersfield when I arrived at the hotel. Walking into the lobby I had to pull open wooden doors that were almost too hot to touch but once inside the place was nice. It’s a multi building facility and when I went to park the place looked a bit sketchy. But, again, once inside the place was a modern Marriott property — clean, well appointed, and comfortable. My room was great. The air conditioning kept it perfectly comfortable. There is a very nice courtyard but it was too hot to venture out to explore it. The bed was very comfy. It was 107 F when I arrived and only cooled down to 94F when I went to bed but I chilled out and had a great rest. Don’t let the outside appearance fool you — this place is what you expect from a Marriott.

I will not stay here again.
Pros:

The only thing I liked was that it was close to the event I was attending.

Cons:

They charged me an extra $100 when I got there after I had already paid on Booking.com. There was no breakfast the Kitchen was closed. One of the beds still had the plastic on the mattress making it uncomfortable to sleep. The room phone was broken We couldn’t call housekeeping or front desk.

Excellent stay in Bakersfield
Pros:

This is a very nice hotel just a couple miles off Hwy 99. My room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed in a modern style. The bed was super comfy and I got great sleep. Service was friendly and the only real drawback was that there is no elevator. Overall, an excellent quick stay in Bakersfield.

Okay place for a night
Pros:

This place has no elevator, no breakfast or microwave I guess some rooms have it some don’t ac don’t work in all the rooms it needs to be remodeled. Over all experience ok friendly guess service.
