Great Stay at the Crowne Plaza

"I had a fantastic stay at the Crowne Plaza Kitchener-Waterloo! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown and within walking distance of some great local restaurants and shops.
The room was spotless, modern, and surprisingly quiet for being downtown. I have to give a special shout-out to the beds; they were incredibly comfortable and made for a great night's sleep.
A major highlight was the breakfast at the Aqua Lounge—the omelette station is a must-try! We also spent some time at the bowling alley and pool, which were great perks that you don't usually find in a city hotel. Every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.
Whether you're here for business or with family, this is easily one of the best places to stay in the KW area. I'll definitely be back!"

Disappointed
Pros:

Poor accessibility, ignoring/oblivious to booking request needs, sad gym, total lack of privacy at pool, crack addicts in front and side of hotel (where you go for parking - it dpesnt feel safe and in depressed area), almost useless vanity area in bathroom, 1980s shower head, heat/cooling unadjustable at certain times or just not functioning. Hallways littered with room service trays, etc for virtually my entire 24 hour stay. Not that I was going, but they were trying to sell a $50pp easter brunch buffet...lol. Ummm.....

Do not recommend. Way better options within 10min or less of this hotel.

Staff was nice did let us check in 1 hour early

Cons:

Ants in the washroom. Noticed next day while getting ready in the morning. I would have liked to use gym and pool at 5 am before checking out. We had to leave at 7:30 am. In the evening there were a lot of kids in the pool

Cons:

The arcade room is a joke .. staff say it’s a 3rd party so they are not responsible for the games not working meanwhile there’s a game that costs 1$ and has 108$ showing on the screening meaning 108 people have been scammed by it !! And they do nothing to fix it or take it out ??? Nothing in the arcade worked which made my kid have a meltdown bowling ally also broken .

The bed was comfortable and it was close walking distance to lots of shops

Cons:

I booked this for my son and I to enjoy while we were in town for a bowling tournament. We were very disappointed to find the bowling lane inside the hotel to be out of order. The arcade was also very run down with most games out of order as well. Being charged a fee to use the other things like bowling, mini putt, ping pong is absolutely insane when I paid $300 for 1 night stay.
They also tried to tell me that my booking only included 1 breakfast voucher when I booked my room for 2 people.
The room was dirty and very outdated. Dried shampoo drips and hair on the floor of the shower.
There is no sound proofing and we could hear people on either side of us and kids running on the floor above us. The hall we were in had wet toilet paper wad on the floor the duration of our stay.
This hotel is also not accessible for those in wheelchairs as none if the doors have accessible buttons. Made it very hard to get through with suitcases. I cant imagine the trouble someone with limited mobility would have.
We were very disappointed. We ended up leaving to go down the street to a pool hall to find something fun to do while we were there.
This place really needs work. I will not be staying here again. Definitely not worth my money.

Won't choose this location again
Pros:

The pool and inside was very nice

Cons:

Honestly our room was dirty. The windows looked like they were never cleaned and when we wiped it our hands were black. When they said breakfast was included, they only give two vouchers and kids needed to be paid for.

A terrible experience.
Pros:

When I arrived to check-in, I was told. I needed a major credit card even though your website said 250. Dollar deposit preferred damage. And that is not right. I was willing to pay cash in advance for the 4 knights, but I was refused. It's disgusting.

Cons:

I could have been checked in at paid cash in advance for the four nights with a damaged deposit without issue
