Cons:

Toilet paper was cheap, not expecting that in this class of hotel. Also asked for room service and all they did was to stack more towels and empty trash. No making beds or cleaning g the bathroom and removing old towels. That was disappointing.

It worked.
Pros:

Location was great for jumping to the Channel Islands. Walkable to the harbor, easy to navigate to and from 101. The area was quiet. Parking was easy.

Cons:

The bathroom was a little on the worn side, not outright bad, but just not great. Water pressure on the sink was too high, spraying all over the counter. But the pressure ont he shower was too low and the brain was excessively slow. There was no door to the washroom, only to the shiwer/toilet area. Also, there was no general lighting in the room, only lamps so the main area was not well lit. There was only one tiny trash can which proved irritating.

Pros:

Location was nice

Cons:

Very dated. My carpet was very wet in a couple of spots. I couldn't tell if the furniture downstairs in the lobby in my room everywhere I went. It's just old and dingy or not clean.

Good location . Nice pool Jacuzzi area.

Cons:

not crazy about the breakfast options. The brunch items were didn’t appear to be very fresh except for the as you order omelette.

Will happily stay there again!
Pros:

It appeared each room had a small patio area so that you could sit outside and appreciate the ocean breeze. Because it is an older property, the gardens and plantings are large and mature. It lent the whole outdoors like a much more expensive resort hotel.
