The staff is always great they do their best unfortunately the facility itself is old dated everything including the bed

Enjoyable stay for the most part
Pros:

Very friendly staff that made our stay more enjoyable by switching our room from one with probably the worst view in the entire hotel to one of the best. Also, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the mini fridge kept our drinks very cold. The complimentary breakfast was hot and delicious, and the dining area was beautifully appointed and cozy with the fireplace burning.

Cons:

The bathroom was very dated and quite frankly uncomfortable. I'm not quite sure why the toilet paper was more than an arms length from the toilet. We removed the roll and placed it on the edge of the tub. It also smelled a little musty, and the shower had a constant drip. The ceiling was pretty dusty, and there were stains on the lampshade and wall behind the bed... possibly an exploded pen??? The additional furnishings...a chair and office chair were just plain ugly, dated, and dirty looking... not to mention super uncomfortable. Finally, with no fault of the hotel, possibly a prankster from the previous stay, the alarm clock randomly went off twice throughout the night, waking us all up. We laughed and joked that maybe the room was haunted.

I will definitely stay their again if I have a choice.
Pros:

The room was exceptionally clean. The staff was more than welcoming. The location is excellent. The food was awsome!!!!

hospitality was nice

Cons:

This is a very old hotel, beautiful location, but if they would just do some updates, it would match what they charge. The rooms smell musty, there hasn't been an upgrade in years. Looked like maybe the 80's or 90's. We were there for a swim invitational and stayed there for that, to be with the swimmers.

Room wasn’t ready even though asked for it to be done early. Instead of cleaning up an ice mess they pushed it under and threw towels down. One elevator was broken.
