Decent if all you need is a place to sleep but hard, uncomfortable bed and badly needs updating overall. Friendly staff,
Pros:

Beautiful lake front.

Cons:

Peeling wallpaper and outdated television technology, paper thin walls (and screaming neighbors much of the night), no exhaust fan in bathroom, aging decor.

Love the location. Moldy dirty bathroom in room. TV and phone in room did not work. Angry staff.
Pros:

Two staff members were very friendly and helpful. One was stocking breakfast and one was the front desk team member.

Cons:

One of the female front desk members was quite unpleasant and acted as if she was angry and inconvenienced by our questions. Once when the door to enter the outside room to the fitness area was locked and another when I was reported that the TV and Telephone in the room did not work.

Disappointing
Pros:

Location on shore of Lake Erie and close to family and friends

Cons:

The place needs refurbishing. Everything seems worn, carpet, showers, elevators. The jacuzzi in my room was out of order and ice machine on first floor non-functioning on the day I left. For the price I paid it was a disappointment.

Just barely OK.
Pros:

Breakfast was fine. The usual just what you expect.

Cons:

The hotel was in decline. The rooms were dated. The AC didn’t work. Shower was stuck. Windows were Fogged. Whole property had seen better days. Location was great though.

Handicap room was NOT wheelchair accessible!

Cons:

The handicap room was not good. The bathroom shower had a huge lip and was NOT wheelchair accessible and therefore was NOT useable! The refrigerator was behind a bar, and NOT accessible or useable either. The alarm clock was broken, as was the lamp. The kitchen area had high captains chairs and therefore NOT accessible for wheelchair users. Very disappointed with accessible room.

We stay here regularly
Pros:

We stay here every year when we go to Dunkirk. Great location to the beaches and the pier. They always have pretty landscaping.

Cons:

Had to wait to check-in because nobody was at the desk. When the lady did come out of the back, she wasn't super friendly. Our television wouldn't work and when we asked to have it looked at, she acted like we were asking her for something complicated. They ended up giving us a different room (with a better view) because they couldn't get it fixed. Also, it was extremely warm in the hallways and in the rooms. It seemed to take quite a long time for the room to actually cool down.

I do not plan to stay here again.
Pros:

Close to family.

Cons:

Multiple spiders on ceiling over the bed. No handle on inside of shower door. Room door did not open or close without major effort (it appeared to be out of plum with the frame.) phone did not work - no dial tone. Reported that first day soon after arrival, nothing was done about it. Front desk staff were pleasant, but had no authority to handle our concerns.
