Nothing everything was above expectations stayed only one night, attending a family funeral and after a long day it was nice to come back to a really comfortable bed. We had a great sleep
Close to Texas Tech, when I had a problem with my room being clean mainly the bathroom Staff took care of it right away

Restroom had an odor to it and floor was sticky. I wish the rate had included breakfast. We had to drive in heavy rain to find a nice breakfast spot.
I was in Lubbock for a wedding over the weekend of April 10-12. Having a DoubleTree in Lubbock was exciting to see when I booked. The previous hotel in this location was a Four Points Sheraton and was familiar on my arrival. Front desk staff were fantastic. Quick, seamless check in. On arrival to my room I realized that the power outlets in the room were not working. I use a medical device and I wasn’t going to be able to use the room. Front seat staff again, amazing. I had a new room in about 15 minutes. The hotel was clean, well kept, and the on site car and restaurant were excellent.
My only “room for improvement” item is beds. The beds are miserably hard. I did not have quality rest during my stay. A softer bed would’ve been hallmark for my rest and my back.
Otherwise. No complaints.
My stay here was EXCELLENT and made even better by Dee. He was kind, welcoming, helpful and even made the effort to remember the names of my team that stayed there. Would highly recommend!

I arrived early and checked my bags so I didn’t have to carry them around. Ended up sitting at the bar to have lunch and Dee came to find me 40 minutes before early check in to let me know our rooms were ready and he had our keys and had us fully checked in. He checked in with us every time we went through the lobby to make sure everything was perfect. The check in staff, restaurant and bar staff was all on point. Rooms are nice and clean and the food is much better than you’d expect from a hotel. Our go to from here on out when in Lubbock
The manager and his team were so friendly and accommodating from the time we arrived in the front, even offering to dispose of some trash that I had in my hands. Highly recommend!!
