Good service despite the construction.
Pros:

The long overdue renovation to the flooring from the ragged carpeting to the new white tile in the lobby and pool area. Staff informed me that the carpeting was to be replaced throughout the hotel floor by floor in the coming months. The flooring in the adjacent IHOP restaurant has been replaced with light grey snap planking. Looks much better.

Cons:

Booking.com did not mention that the hotel was under renovation. The lobby area was being remodelled with new tile flooring that made it difficult to walk across to the reception desk. The main reception counter has been removed and the IHOP guest counter is being used instead. Construction dust is abundant on the main floor and the pool is closed at present.

Screamed at by manager and charged $200 for damage we did not cause, or were aware of
Pros:

Wrongfully charged $200 for damage to smoke detector that was not caused during our stay.

When called to inform of erroneous charge, the manager Joel screamed at me and stated the charge should be higher.

We did not tamper or damage any components in your room during our stay. Our stay was peaceful and you charged us for $200 damage we did not cause

Not good and nobody cared
Cons:

Had no pool that's why we booked and then didn't know until we go there no gym pool arcade and to make it worse the most have been only 5 cars into he parking lot the whole night but yet still our car was broken I to and things take and we had to pay 50 dollars for 2 cars and we parked right beside the door and the car was broken into very disappointing as we had come to show family from the uk the falls very let down

Good value for money
Pros:

The location was pretty good, approx 15 min walk from the falls. The room was very spacious. The check-in was smooth.

Cons:

The TV channels were blurry. The bathroom was clean but could do with some upgrades. They charged $3.50 for a small bottle of water. I believe that the first bottle should be complimentary. Parking was also extra, I believe $25.

Last min stay in Niagara!
Pros:

I was disappointed that the amenities were closed but we were still charged a usage fee. When we went to use the elevator and was stuck in there for a bit which felt really stressful. The front desk said they were doing maintenance and to use the stairs were on the 7th floor. Parking was $25 more then the other hotels I've stayed at in Niagara and I have never had to pay for a late check out at any point in my life I had no idea any hotel actually charges that it's usually waived.

The big tub that was all I liked

Cons:

The elevator was super slow stiairs where faster ice machine only worked on the 3rd floor not being told the pool was under renovation until we got there The shower door kept getting stuck every time u used it. 2 am people where fighting on our floor which was 4 then the fire alarm after that
Trying to go down the stairs in the middle of the night and figuring out where we supposed to go
So much confusion until we find out it was not a fire. No fridge in room the bed was ok. The furnace was so loud
