Pros:

Room was fine. Location was very convenient to where I needed to go - block and a half away. Staff was friendly and helpfu.

Cons:

Shower was awful. Almost no water pressure. It dribbled!!
No complementary breakfast.

We slept well at the Holiday Inn in Rock Island!
Pros:

We loved that the hotel was so conveniently located to where our brother lives and so we could visit with him later in the evening than we would have been able to had we been housed further away. We liked that there was a small fitness center than we could use to do a little cardio and some weight exercises. Our room was clean and comfortable and our floor was quiet.

Cons:

We needed to flex a little as there were two wedding receptions occurring on site so parking was a bit less convenient and it was a little unsettling to walk through a lot of wedding guests who were out in the halls of the second floor when we went to the fitness center on Saturday evening.

Overall, a good place to stay for a reasonable rate.
Pros:

Good lighting in the room, especially the bathroom. Firm beds with 4 pillows on each bed. Ample storage and counter space. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was available at 6AM everyday! Good area around the hotel for walking to restaurants and shops.

Cons:

Breakfast was not included in the room rate. There was no shampoo in the room (2 bottles of conditioner, no shampoo). When I went to desk to get shampoo., they said they would make a note to house keeping to put shampoo in my room for my 2nd night. I returned for my second night, no shampoo was put in my room.
