It was ok but a little underwhelming.
Pros:

The location was fine, a bit confusing to find the entrance. The staff was very accommodating. The bathroom was nice. The proximity to Buc'ees is great.

Cons:

Breakfast was a little confusing. The listing said breakfast was included but we were not offered any information about it. We had to ask. The room was a little smelly.

We didn’t even get to administer the pool meaning that we never got to try out the pool so for our next visit

Cons:

A lot of people because it was overwhelming and honestly, I didn’t feel like checking out with all those people.

Over all, great location. The pool definitely needs to be upkept more.
Pros:

The beds were comfortable and the staff were super nice and welcoming. The location was great because you are literally close to ALOT of stores and restaurants. I would recommend this area to others.

Cons:

Although we didnt have any issues, the pool was very disappointing. If looked dirty and not maintained well after it was used. We did not go into the pool.

Pros:

Location, and the food during the dinner hours.

Cons:

It said heated pool... It definitely was not! It was clean but if you looked harder you could see it wasn't deep cleaned in a long time. Breakfast is NOT complimentary and $15 for the same type of breakfast you'd get a different hotel for free is ridiculous.

Not as advertised.
Pros:

We chose this hotel because it had a restaurant/bar on site. This was important to us. When we made the reservations, the associate was asked twice about the restaurant availability. He assured us that the restaurant was open and would be open when we arrived.
Upon checking in the clerk (Erin) told us the restaurant was closed and had been closed for a while. We told Erin why we picked the hotel and she suggested we could go somewhere else. That wasn't an option and we checked in. Taking a shower determined that the body wash container was empty. Later the TV would not download the programming guide. Was told nothing could be done because no one else complained. Lastly, no toilet paper replacement roll.
Last time we will stay at this place or any Double Tree. Well below the standards of a Hilton.

Skip This One While in Harrisonburg
Pros:

I’ve been here more than a handful of times over the past year. I’ve overlooked a roach in the bathroom, doors that don’t close without being body-slammed, mold, and a truly terrible restaurant. Nothing ever gets better. I love DoubleTree and stay in them constantly for work throughout the East, but I will not be back to this one for quite some time, despite how convenient it is for my travels. Even the cookies are burnt. There is dust everywhere and I can see outside next to the AC unit. It’s a shame - just off the highway and surrounded by all your shopping needs.
