I will never stay here again.
Pros:

Maybe location. It was close to Crossed Keys Estate.

I was there for two days and heard doors slamming all night. I heard dogs barking. I had to be moved to another floor because of the noise and barking. The adults had no consideration for hotel guests.

Cons:

The noise of other guests slamming doors and running through the halls at midnight. I could also hear the entire conversation of the folks beside me.

Pros:

Excellent facility. Clean and new. Comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. The location is hampered by the construction on nearby I80 which makes it a bit difficult to get to the location until construction is completed.

Check in was a breeze! The lady that was at the front desk was super nice! The room was very clean & bed was comfortable.
Message to management; where did you order the couch that turns into a bed? I think I need to order one for myself! (Laughing to myself because of how comfortable that actually was and could use one for our small guest room).

Unexceptional but Functional
Pros:

If you’re considering a stay in the Rockaway-Mt. Arlington Region, the Courtyard Marriott is a decent choice. The staff is particularly friendly, the rooms are of a good size, and the gym is adequate. However, the hotel does show signs of wear and tear and lacks some amenities. On the plus side, the hotel is conveniently located with quick highway access, and the rooms come with microwaves, pull-out couches, decent showers, and larger-than-usual refrigerators.

On the downside, the rooms lack a safe, the beds are stiff, and there’s insufficient lighting. The hotel needs some refreshing, as the rooms show signs of wear and tear. In our room, one of the lights wasn’t working, the toilet seat was cracked, and there were rust stains in the bathroom. The breakfast is very limited. Be aware that even though photos of an indoor pool are online, it’s no longer there.

The bottom line: if you’re looking for a place to stay in this area, the Courtyard Marriott is sufficient, but not more.
