Really good location and the style is modern. We got a very delicious breakfast. The staff was helpful!

Cons:

It had a slight damp smell, and there are a few things that could use some renovation.

Nice but Not Perfect Rental Apartment with Some Service Available
Pros:

We spent a week in Sao Miguel and decided to split our time between a city-based hotel and one with a pool and beach. Aqua Populo Village is a nice but far from perfect choice. It's closer to an Air B&B than a hotel. There is daily housekeeping, a daily breakfast basket delivered to your room, and the staff will even do your laundry, which is very nice. But I think the other reviewers here are more accustomed to a self-serivce apartment than a full-serivce hotel.

Staying here keeps you in the official city limits of PD but has absolutely nothing within walking distance, and getting a taxi or rideshare to anything in town or elsewhere on the island, including to the airport, is challenging. If you are renting a car for your stay, that's not an issue, but if you're not driving yourself, getting anywhere from here is not easy. There are no restaurants within walking distance.

Sunset beach is close by but not actually at the property and has no chairs or umbrellas available for use or rent. The rooftop pool area is nice but small (4 lounge chairs). It overlooks a busy road and isn't quiet, and there is no food or drink service available. I appreciate that the staff set up umbrellas for us.

We stayed in the Atlantic Deluxe Villa, which has plenty of space (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a loft that could sleep more people, and a full kitchen). The outdoor patio is tiny and does not have any seating. The on-site gym is large and always empty, but the equipment there is old, and it's not air-conditioned.

The staff here are great and easy to communicate with.

Nice space, great breakfast, enjoyed our stay!
Pros:

Great comfortable space, lovely breakfast. Nice staff! Secure parking. Nice and dark for sleeping. Good size fridge.

Cons:

Lacking a dresser in a large bedroom to be able to comfortably put stuff, organize stuff. A rolling rack was all there was. Also for a large bathroom lacked counter-space with the tiny sink area. Loud at times for being unit at the door.

Pros:

The property is spacious. The staff are very nice and responsive by text. We appreciated that the cleaning staff found some items we left when checking out an returned them to us - that was very nice. The breakfast is plentiful and good. They will even do your laundry for you on request, which is nice if you are travelling for a long period of time.

Cons:

Of course it's not something they can control, but the location of this property makes it a challenge. It's not walking distance to downtown, and there are no good restaurants in walking distance, so everything requires a taxi. Also, the pool area faces a busy street and is not peaceful. The gym is large, but the equipment is old. Our room had a bit of a mold smell -- I think there is a leak around the windows.

Pěkná a klidná lokalita, blízko k pláži, bezkontaktní moderní ubytování, vše vyřízeno online.

Cons:

Nebyl nám vysvětlen způsob objednávání snídaně. I přes vyplněný formulář přišlo vždy něco jiného, nebo potraviny chyběly úplně. Každá snídaně byla překvapení. V apartmánu byl nedostatečný počet zásuvek, když jsme chtěli nabíjet mobil, musela se odpojit lampička a podobně. V koupelně bylo malé umyvadlo, nebylo místo na odložení prádla, chyběly věšáky na ručníky a ve sprše chyběla odkládací polička. V kuchyni bylo nepraktické otevírání všech dvířek u kuchyňské linky.

Pros:

Customer service was excellent. Every time I reached out, the person on the other end answered and was very helpful. We stayed in the penthouse which was a good size very clean and right next to the pool and hot tub. The breakfast was great too

Cons:

Getting into and leaving the property was a little confusing because you need the gate to open to park your car and leave at the end. Also, it seems like there are other amenities which are not available right on property, such as massages, bike rentals, workout classes. The business should put a link to third parties that they are associated with that provide services. Really small things. Overall, a great stay.

Apartment was very spacious, new and nice. It was also very close to the beach. Nice interior design. Cool gym and swimming pool on the roof

Cons:

We had a view on parking lot. I belive the owners should plant some bushes to hide it s bit. Also on the roof with a swimming pool was a bit dirty (glass fence was always dusted). For such price such details should be taken care of
