Cons:

It would have be nice if we were informed that renovations were taking place and perhaps offered a discount. Could not look out the windows and were aware of workers just outside the windows of our room. Felt like a bit of an invasion of privacy.

La habitación era amplia pero le falta un poco de actualizacion. Tiene cochera disponibles con reserva en una zona de difícil y caro estacionamiento. El personal es muy atento.

Cons:

Le baje el puntaje xq están remodelando todo el frente y esta con andamios y tapado. NO avisan de esto y la sensación no es la mejor. La habitación daba directo a la calle en planta baja. El baño está dividido en 2 partes cada uno con compartimentos separados directo a la habitación, totalmente innecesario.

Perfekt für ein verlängertes Wochenende zur Erkundung der Region per Bus und Bahn.
Pros:

Perfekte Lage, direkt am Bahnhof und am Busbahnhof von Haarlem.
Kleine aber gemütlich und zweckmäßig eingerichtete Zimmer.
Freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Badewanne ließ sich nicht verschließen, und Klobürste fehlte - wurde moniert und schnell korrigiert.
Zimmer zur Frontseite waren wegen Fassadensanierung mit Planen verhangen, deshalb bekamen wir problemlos ein Upgrade auf ein größeres Zimmer zur Hofseite.

Cons:

Scaffolding all around the building was a disappointment, but I appreciate repair work and decorating has to be done at some point, so fair enough. Perhaps an upfront note would be fair to let potential would be guests know before they book.

Lovely hotel in the center with easy walkable city access.
Pros:

Lovely hotel and staff. The outside was covered with scaffolding limiting any view out the windows — not a big issue if you are out touring and just sleeping at the hotel. But I wasn’t aware of this and felt that was a miss. Also, the rate could have been adjusted a bit more to accommodate. But the staff, location, the rooms, the breakfast buffet were excellent. Once the scaffolding is removed, my rating will be top score.
