Nice place, great location
Pros:

The beds were great, the location was perfect, it was very clean.

Comfortable hotel, excellent breakfast, very convenient location if travelling by train.
Pros:

The location is ideal when travelling by train, and not to far from the city centre.
I first stayed in this hotel in 1972, and have stayed there many times.
It is quiet, There is a wide selection of food available for breakfast.

Cons:

My only gripe is that the price did not include breakfast, and I think the total cost is now excessive. Had it not been for the fact that I had stayed there many times since 1972 with many memories I would probabaly have not chosen Lion d'Or if this was my first visit to Haarlem.

Perfektes Hotel
Pros:

- sehr schönes, sauberes und komfortables Hotel. Zimmer sehr gross, Badezimmer neu, mega bequemes Bett und es war in der Nacht ruhig, trotz geöffnetem Fenster
-mega feines und grosses Frühstücksbuffet, man kann sich sogar selber Spiegeleier kochen
- 2Min zum Bahnhof, aber die Züge hört man nicht

Wichtig: es steht kein Gerüst mehr mit Bauarbeiten!

Geweldig!! Aanrader!
Pros:

Super goede lokatie, dicht bij het centrum van de stad! Mooi ingericht! Goed geïsoleerd, je hoort niets van buiten. Alles was op de kamer.
Parkeerplaats om de hoek en we mochten de auto gratis langer dan afgesproken laten staan!

Fijn dat je tegen betaling dichtbij kan parkeren op terrein van het hotel

Super gehad alleen jammer dat we niet de kamer kregen die wij volgens de foto s hadden geboekt met z n vieren. Speciaal gekozen voor dit hotel voor een vierpersoonskamer en dat de bedden allemaal naast elkaar stonden en dat hadden we nu niet

Die Lage ist super - aber für‘s nächste mal such ich mir eine Alternative.
Pros:

Die Lage ist gut für Stadterkundung,Ausflüge in die Umgebung, an die Nordsee und Amsterdam. Schön gestaltete Zimmer.

Cons:

1. Extrem hellhörig! Man hört die Gespräche der Zimmernachbarn, das Reinigungspersonal, das am WE morgens, in den Zimmern und Fluren rumpoltert.
2. Personal in der Lounge und dem Frühstücksbereich: unmotiviert und oft einfach nicht anwesend. Da steht man dann schon mal 10 Minuten vor einem halb leeren Frühstücksraum und muss warten, bis sich jmd. erbarmt und deine Zimmernummer entgegen nimmt. Was drinken im Loungebereich? Wenn nur jmd. die Bestellung entgegen nähme.
3. Keine Barrierefreiheit: 1 Aufzug- sehr langsam und zu Stosszeiten auch überfüllt, da auch Schmutzwäsche, Servicewägen etc. transport werden. Hier muss man teilweise sehr geduldig sein. Auf den Etagen trifft man auf weitere Stufen. Wer verletzt ist oder auf Gehhilfe etc. angewiesen ist, wird hier keine Freude haben.
4. Sauberkeit bzw. Aufmerksamkeit des Servicepersonal ist ausbaufähig. In meinem Zimmer lagen benutzte Löffel der Vorgänger. Ein Lacken war löchrig das andere hatte Flecken ( ich denke bzw. hoffe, alte eingewascheneFlecken).

Idealer Ausgangspunkt für einen ausgiebigen Stadtbummel und perfekt für einen oder mehrere Abstecher nach Amsterdam. Mit
Pros:

Perfekte Lage in Zentrumsnähe und nur einen Katzensprung vom Bahnhof entfernt. Parkplatz konnte über das Hotel gebucht werden.
Außerdem prima Ausgangspunkt für einen Besuch in Amsterdam oder einen Abstecher an die Nordsee.

Cons:

Das Frühstücksangebot hätte etwas umfangreicher sein können. Fällt bei einem Kurzaufenthalt aber nicht ins Gewicht.
