Perfect location, lovely but not quite 4 star
Pros:

Our room was on the 4th floor with a large window with views on the large town square with fantastic market days 3 x every week. Fabulous, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. The room was large with a table and chairs plus 2 more comfy ones. The bathroom was adequate. The air conditioning worked well and kept us cool during the heat wave. I've been to many hotels where this is often not the case.

Cons:

This family owned hotel is 120 years old and has been updated but could do with improvements and attention to details. Complimentary toiletries were low quality. The housekeeping was definitely not properly trained where the bed sheets were not always straightened, the bin not emptied, tea etc not replenished. The hotel has just 1 toilet for disabled people on the ground floor which caused problems for a fellow guest. The food in the restaurant is expensive. However the continental breakfast was good with plenty of choicel and the staff were very helpful and friendly, even kind. But, a 4 star rated hotel should be better.

Cons:

Helaas was de airco defect.
Naarrr, goed gecompenseerd met borrlelplank en fles cava. Was erg lekker en uitgebreid.

Really nice hotel in the absolute centre of this beautiful Dutch town.
Pros:

The location was excellent. Perfect room, great AC, bed linen, TV, shower and bath.

Excellent location, quiet and very comfortable.

Cons:

The shower was a bit difficult as the hand rails were on the side I didn’t expect. The bath mat was hidden at the side and we didn’t find it till the second day. The dispenser needed more soap. This was only a minor irrational in a wonderful stay.
