Lovely hotel & staff.
Pros:

A lovely hotel with great staff with really good facilities. The room was nice and the bed very comfortable.

Cons:

Although l’d requested a ground floor room near the reception a few days before, it was in-fact a fair way down the corridor.
The breakfast did have a good range of food but the hot was slightly overcooked and many items were not very warm. So had wished l hadn’t had it.

Woke up by drilling and a spade scrapping along concrete
Cons:

We were working up by drilling at 6.30am. We rang reception a couple of times and the issue was not dealt with. The work continued with scrapping a spade over concrete. We complain but the duty manager and team were not helpful at all. We also paid for late checkout and were locked out of our room when we returned from visiting family.

They had just changed ownership and lost staff, would try again for leisure facilities & friendly
Pros:

Staff very friendly and helpful....could have fresh milk for hot drinks in the room, and they will give plenty of drink sachets if you run out.
Leisure facilities great....loved the swimming pool.
Comfortable beds

Cons:

No hot water for a day or two....Bathroom was not as clean as expected when first arrived...and thought they may have changed sheets more frequently, once over 5 night stay and day before we left.
Need sockets by the bed, and the lighting is very dim in places like where the kettle and cups are.
No fridge, and the bin tries to do recycle and ordinary waste which is a good idea but too small may need 2 bins instead.
Did not always cater for 3 people in the room..ie had to ask for more towels, but always supplied without quibble.
Toilet paper too thin...maybe only 1 ply but certainly need a roll a day.
Food was a bit on the pricy side
