This hotel is the real deal…classy and great value. Decor in all public areas is fantastic and the rooms are just beautiful. Staff are friendly and helpful, we will be back
Central location makes this a great place to stay in the heart of Brighton
We didn’t get to check in to our room until 4.45 (check in is 3pm) …..we were told this was due to housekeeping staff shortage . Every time we went to the desk to check if our room was ready (they asked us to check with them every 30mins !) it was a shrug with a sorry but not ready …no estimate of how long. We were offered drinks voucher (1 drink each ) . We asked to speak to the duty manager , but told they were busy , I asked for a call that never happened.
The bar was cashless - card only.
I will not use this hotel again

Great room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Well worth the extra cost. Nice quirky hotel withy great decor and nice atmosphere. Very pleasant staff
Short wait on check in as room not ready. However, quickly resolved and immediately offered a free drink in the cafe/bar while we waited
Location
V small box room
Breakfast
Hotel is very tired and the colour of corridors etc are so last year
Its location was spot on and in easy reach to all the amenities
The room was a little on the small side and the restaurant could do with being a bit bigger especially at breakfast time. Also the carpark could do with being bigger
The staff are great but my goodness the hotel needs a refurbishment so much! I felt like I was staying in a youth hostel in Room 216!
The headboard nailed to the wall and curtains behind…. Surely the hotel must be making enough to close and refurb!’
Old and tired decorations and interiors.
Fab hotel, amazing staff who looked after us
