What can I say that is positive about our stay at the Jupiter hotel, Absolutely NOTHING, our room was outdated, and the bathroom dirty, we had a single bed along side our double bed that we didn’t ask for, and you keep banging your legs on the awful metal frame it looks like it was brought in the 1960’s, if we had a child there would be no way we’d put them in it,
Looked like an old fashioned hospital bed, we had a TV in the room and couldn’t watch it because it kept saying bad reception from the Ariel, so kept pixelating, the Maintenance guy came and never even looked at it, just said there’s nothing he could do, it’s the area they were in, What’s the point in having a TV in a room you can’t watch, The shower I wouldn’t allow my dog to use it, it was filthy, this is why I’ve taken the photo’s, for the money you pay for the rooms the standards should be higher, but to be honest the staff member on reception was as bad as the hotel so our expectations were low before we got to our room, Breakfast well basic isn’t the word for it, The cheese was hard and dry around the edges and looked like it had been out for a week, and not much variety in cereals either, when we got back to our room, we found our toilet was leaking, we had a shower and black sludge came up from the plug hole, that was the THE FINAL STRAW for us,
P.s don’t even bother trying to get on the internet it’s a total waste of time, when you finally log in, it’s like not have any in the first place,

Great location. Bathroom had everything needed. Luxury toiletries. Continental breakfast included. Comfortable bed.
Enjoyed our stay.

Booking in prompt and efficient. Room and bathroom clean. Plenty of fresh towels. Continental breakfast adequate. Bar OK but really limited to bottled. Overall decoration of hotel not bad but looks very tired in places.

Booked through hotels.com for 2 x rooms and paid in full on booking for both. Ended up having to pay again as payment was held as pending - eventually resolved and one room refunded although still not showing in my account.

No gluten free options so breakfast of cheese and ham.

Hôtel very dated and oddly set out.

Staff not particularly present.

On the plus side - it’s cheap

Very pleasant surroundings

Cheap and cheerful. No problems at all, convenient for the town.

Very local to all public amenities.
If in that area will use again.

Ideal stop off for visiting harewood house and wetherby. Outside very jaded but internally clean and tidy. Continental breakfast included with all bookings. And very easy walk in to wetherby where there are multiple pubs, restaurants etc

Because the hotel has been taken over the initial sight on approaching wasn’t good. No new name sign above the door so it was shabby, tired peeling paintwork! Yet on entering was fine. The reception friendly & welcoming. The room was clean & smelling nice. The windows brokendown units filled with condensation not pleasant. It was very hot had to turn heating off. The facilities were good & bed comfy slept well. Breakfast very good choices & plentiful. Overall enjoyed your he stay

Sadly this hotel does not seem to have a bar, or food offering bar a very basic breakfast.

The breakfast room toaster didnt work, and for a continental only breakfast the lack of fresh fruit salad made it difficult for anyone on a gluten free diet. Pastries were there but seemed to be not very fresh. The coffee machine could only cope with half a cup...

Room wise basic with clean bedding, but showers could have done with a good scrub with mold spray. One room didnt have a sink plug that fitted.

Excellent all round. Hotel laid out nicely, room comfortable as was the bed. Everything very clean and quiet, good shower and nice selection of toiletries. Breakfast good too.

Obviously an ex-chain hotel but still all being kept to a high standard with fresh decoration. Room was quiet, modern, clean and cosy with comfortable beds, pillows and thick carpet. Free bottled water, and a perfectly adequate continental breakfast. Staff always friendly and welcoming despite our late arrival. Will definitely keep this on the list for future stays in the area.

More friendly , n late night drinks n food or bar service would add more enjoyable n quality time spend during stay
