If you need a base for explorations in Kent - or elsewhere - in the Gatwick area, look no further!
Pros:

Four-person family arriving at Gatwick and needing a base for roadtripping in Kent. For our needs, the location was perfect; both the distance from the airport and the easy access to the motorways we needed. We have little impression of the surroundings, the hotel itself was very adequate. Great room, helpful staff. Enjoyed the breakfast. Understanding bar crew that let me finish watching the World Cup game in extra time, even though they were really closing.

Cons:

After I entered Sandman, I slept with one eye open, gripping my pillow tight.

Neither of us liked Marmite.

The staff were the best thing about the place. Hard working and tried to please

The entrance was where it needs attention. The breakfast was weak to put it mildly. Food was over priced and of a poor standard. I reckon the air fryer was flat out. The bar closes at 11 so if you want a night cap you're sitting foye

Typical airport hotel but further out than expected
Pros:

Nice hotel, but some shortcomings in service
Pros:

Good location and good food and drink

Cons:

Stayed for 2 nights - had to ask to be moved as room we were in was very noisy (very loud fridge and droning aircon/kitchen extractor fans nearby). We were initially told we couldn’t move because the hotel was full, but when they realised we were not just there for one night, as if by magic another room suddenly became free ! Other concerns related to the food and drink and the bar - on our first night, my wife ordered a buttermilk chicken burger - it was ok, but looked more like breaded chicken - which was confirmed the following day when we saw someone else order the same meal, and get something which looked completely different to what she’d had the day before. On the second night, the bar was busy (due to the England match), but we were given no warning that food orders were running late (45+ minutes for a portion of chips and some chicken wings seemed excessive, and no apology was given. We also found it bizarre that virtually every table in the bar had been reserved- even to the extent that bits of till receipt had been stuck to the bar to reserve bar stools as well !! We were initially told that we’d have to order room service (at extra cost !) if we couldn’t find a table ! Luckily we managed to find 2 spare seats in a corner, but we weren’t impressed with the wait time and seeming lack of concern of the staff

Pros:

La propreté de la chambre , le confort , la tranquilité du lieu et de la chambre.

Cons:

L' inflexibilité sur l' heure du check in.Arrivé après un ling vol vers midi, j' ai dû attendre 15h pour rentrer.J' etais épuisé et j' aurais eu besoin d' un peu d' empathie , car c' etait tres evident que j' etais épuisée.D' ailleurs j' ai fait une malaise dans la rue et heureusement un passant m' a aidéavec une bouteille d' eau et en appelant un taxi.Tout ca aurait pu être évité avec un peu plus de compassion et gentillesse de la part du personnel.
