Staff at reception was helpful
-Pretty old building
-No lift for upstairs. Consider if you’ve many luggages.

Spacious. Staff were helpful in the restaurant.
The rooms had a lack of fresh air. No fridge in room, water bottle Luke warm. Fixtures and fittings looking tired.
Staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to prepare foods to allow me to enjoy my meal with out experiencing adverse reactions. Well done.
Convenient for the places we wanted to go to. Room was adequate and clean.
Outside our room was a badly fitted fire door that banged every time someone went through especially at night.

L'hotel è vecchio e andrebbe rinnovato. La camera ha mobili vecchi, il bagno non è all'altezza: la doccia perdeva, il lavandino si intasava. Abbiamo chiesto alla reception e non hanno fatto nulla per sistemare (ma la soluzione sarebbe stata probabilmente la ristrutturazione). La testiera del letto era più piccola del materasso che era troppo grande: dormendo sentivi che non c'era il supporto per metà del letto. In generale non troppo pulito. Struttura enorme e ti ci perdi. Lontanissima dal centro di york.
Very friendly staff and location.
Disappointed with the standard in the room we had, for a superior room we really did expect much more, bathroom needs attention, sofa was really dusty
The location of the hotel was great, the staff were friendly, it was very clean and the breakfast was lovely
The reception area was beautiful and modern which i felt lured us into a false sense of security because the rooms themselves were very dated, alot of things were broken or tatty, whilst showering the bath would fill up as the water wasnt draining away and the beds were so uncomfortable

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel, paid way too much than we should have done. It hasn’t even got any 4 star facilities. Complete rip off! Our room obviously hadn’t been updated in decades and it was dirty
