Breakfast so-so EXCEPT I must praise the bowl of oranges with citrus press so you can make fresh-squeezed juice. Love that!
Close to Park & Ride — definitely a good idea to avoid driving in York City Centre.

bed was firm but comfortable, breakfast was a good range, liked the scrambed eggs . Bus stop across the main road handy to get in to York every 20mins.
Good beer pub 10 mins walk up the road

Bathroom could do with update, remove bath add large shower.

Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit!! Alles war sauber und hübsch eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war weit größer als erwartet. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten! :)
Food was amazing had evening meal included in price of stay, which was 3 courses of fantastic food , staff was very professional and the evening waitress was lovely , we arrived early and was able to park our car for free after putting our reg into the portal before checking in later , she even booked us a taxi as needed to get our son to the train station on time , breakfast was good , public area ware good ,excellent black curtains slept really well , would definitely stay again and recommend to others
The bathroom just needs a little updating but didn't spoil our stay .
Our stay was amazing, the room was even better than expected, all the staff are very friendly, attentive and professional, this is definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at..❤️
We were in an ‘end suite’ the hot water takes an age to arrive for the shower, not a problem to me, once I realised, but it’s not terribly environmentally friendly and must cost a fortune, as a ‘former’ plumber I’d recommend a ‘pumped return’ system, we always used them in large buildings..👍
The food was delisuse the chef was briliant the staff really pleasent and helpful espicaily for doing somthing special for her birthday
Everything the build on the old side was like travling back in time with the art deco
Location was fine . The hotel was nice too
Booked 2 standard rooms together.. but the hotel wasn’t able too accommodate. One room on the first floor. 2nd bedroom ground floor. Accessible Room. Said that was the last one. We didn’t believe it. My son was able to book another room without any issues an hour later. We didn’t like the room at all. The bathroom had nasty smell and no hot water in the sink, which so low for us. And a shelf just above it. Not suitable . Didn’t like the accessible shower either. It needed a good clean. Was so glad to leave as soon as we could to get home and have a shower.
