Friendly staff as always 👍🏼
Parking gratuit. Accueil ouvert 24h/24. Chambre spacieuse, équipement correct. Literie confortable.
I had a great stay at the Mercure. Catherine handled my last‑minute booking brilliantly, and check‑in was swift and completely pain‑free. Really appreciated the smooth experience!
Reasonably priced and lovely staff.
A pint of lager and a gin and lemonade cost £19.80 on day 2 of the stay.
The day before the same drink and two packets of crisps cost £17.
Comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom. Delicious breakfast and a great choice of options. Lots of parking bays.
Dated look. Carpets in corridors and stairway dirty with stains. Need replacing. There was a worrying crack along the ceiling above my bed
Room was tired but clean
Room was dated
I recently stayed at the Mercure Hotel in Norwich for 15 nights and had a really pleasant experience overall. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and a great base during my time in the city. The rooms were well maintained, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was relaxed and welcoming.
A special mention has to go to Kat on reception. She was consistently friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Whether it was answering questions, helping with small requests, or just greeting guests with a smile, she made a real difference to the experience. It’s always nice to feel genuinely welcomed when staying somewhere for an extended period, and Kat definitely contributed to that.
After spending over two weeks here, I can say the staff and service really stand out. I’d happily stay here again if I’m back in Norwich and would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay.
Great location for the airport it’s only a 5 minute drive away. Staff very friendly special mention to Katherine on the front desk very polite and helpful. Rooms are a good size and the bed very comfortable. The room was very clean and had everything that you would expect to in your room tea/coffee tv wifi etc. Plenty of room in the car park and free all in all very good value for money would definitely recommend and stay again

I spent 8 days at the Mercure Hotel Norwich for a work stay, and it turned out to be a brilliant experience from start to finish. The room was clean, comfortable, and well‑kept throughout my stay, with a proper bed that made it easy to get a solid night’s sleep every night. After long days, having a quiet, cosy space to switch off in made a massive difference.
The food was consistently excellent — proper quality meals with good portions and plenty of choice. Breakfast set me up well for the day, and the evening meals were spot on, with everything cooked well and served quickly. You can tell the kitchen team take pride in what they do.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything I needed. Whether it was at reception, in the restaurant, or housekeeping, everyone had a positive attitude and made the whole stay feel smooth and stress‑free. It’s the kind of service that makes a longer stay feel much easier.
The hotel itself is in a handy location for getting around Norwich, with plenty of parking and a relaxed atmosphere throughout. For an extended work trip, it ticked every box — comfortable, reliable, and genuinely enjoyable.
I’d happily stay again and would recommend it to anyone needing a longer stay in the area.
Main staff personnel was Katherine at the main reception
Easy location to get around. Lots of parking. Friendly receptionist.
Pillows were too big. Bedroom was really hot. Tinned water in bedroom tasted like metal.
Hot breakfast was stale and cold.
Cold breakfast was stale. Pastries dry like they had been there a few days.
Hallways ready for a refurb. Looked scruffy.
Staff were all lovely, friendly and liked a laugh without losing their professionalism.
Food was good, room was great.
Corridor leading to the room looked a little tired.
Great location opposite mcdonalds and wetherspoons with bus links to centre. £10 taxi to centre and lovely, friendly staff. Yummy breakfast too.
It is dated but clean and comfortable
Attended a 80th birthday party in presidential suite and stayed the night was more than satisfied with the night over all. Everyone had an amazing night, thank-you to all the staff who made the night more special:) And a special thank you to Gary, Emma and Megan on the bar who treated everyone with so much kindness and respect, chef Jack who had prepped the lovely food and stayed to make sure nothing ran out, Craig and Ellie who were on breakfast the next day and even though it was busy made sure everyone were happy and all the food was replenished, and of course to Gill for planning the event with so much care and going above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly what we all hoped for!
Good location with easy access to city centre. Good friendly atmosphere and staff very helpful. Katherine in reception very friendly demeanour
