The room was not very clean.

Bathroom tiles had mould patches near taps
The aircon was coming on and blowing out hot air so we didn’t get much sleep and had a 7 hour drive to do, staff just said sorry about that when I went to reception twice about it
Location
Booking error, I was given room with already somebody inside.
Very comfortable and spacious bed, good shower and very welcome very good. The check in person helped with our luggage and showed us to our room.
All fine. No complaints.

My wife and I stayed for two nights at the Mercure Norwich while we were securing a property as part of our move from Devon to Norfolk. The hotel made the whole process so much easier.
A special thank you to Catherine and Kayleigh on reception – they were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their warm service set the tone for a really comfortable stay.
The room was clean and comfortable, the location was convenient for viewing properties, and everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out. We’ll definitely recommend the Mercure Norwich to anyone visiting the area.

Check in was all good and plenty of parking available. Room was a good size and nice and clean. Bed was comfortable.

lovely staff upon check in
The communal areas were covered in dust and needed a hoover. In our room the two water had clearly been sitting in a tank and/or old plumbing and was not safe to drink - drinking this water led to one of us getting very ill. The pictures on the advert do not reflect the actual hotel whatsoever and I would go as far to say we were completely catfished. Our room was lacking very much so, although clean, looked like something out of a 60’s ymca. Our window also did not open in the room and the air con also didn’t work. The shower was also covered in limescale.
