Great location opposite mcdonalds and wetherspoons with bus links to centre. £10 taxi to centre and lovely, friendly staff. Yummy breakfast too.
It is dated but clean and comfortable
Staff were all lovely, friendly and liked a laugh without losing their professionalism.
Food was good, room was great.
Corridor leading to the room looked a little tired.
Easy location to get around. Lots of parking. Friendly receptionist.
Pillows were too big. Bedroom was really hot. Tinned water in bedroom tasted like metal.
Hot breakfast was stale and cold.
Cold breakfast was stale. Pastries dry like they had been there a few days.
Hallways ready for a refurb. Looked scruffy.
Attended a 80th birthday party in presidential suite and stayed the night was more than satisfied with the night over all. Everyone had an amazing night, thank-you to all the staff who made the night more special:) And a special thank you to Gary, Emma and Megan on the bar who treated everyone with so much kindness and respect, chef Jack who had prepped the lovely food and stayed to make sure nothing ran out, Craig and Ellie who were on breakfast the next day and even though it was busy made sure everyone were happy and all the food was replenished, and of course to Gill for planning the event with so much care and going above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly what we all hoped for!

The hotel was very comfortable and warm. The beds were lovely and we both had good a sleep both nights.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a very good location and public transport was a few steps away into the city centre with a very good bus service.
The breakfast buffet was lovely with plenty of choice to suit all tastes.
When we arrived we were too early to book in but the lady on reception did not leave her seat at the back of the area and spoke loudly to us from behind a bank of screens. Not very welcoming at all. Unfortunately we saw the same lady use the same behaviour to another guest. This was in such contrast to all the other staff who were so friendly and helpful.
The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, especially Abby on reception. The rooms were comfortable and the showers were powerful!
Huge thank you to everybody at Mercure Norwich— especially to Abbi at the front desk who was warm, attentive, and full of thoughtful recommendations that made our trip even better.
We left feeling relaxed and looked after. Already looking forward to coming back!

Stayed at the Mercure Norwich hotel for 2 weeks for work, staff very helpful especially the lovely Abby at the front deck who booked taxis and gave recommendations where to visit in the city.
Impeccable service and staff. Room was warm, clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was great with variety of fruit, cereal, pastries etc. Staff very friendly, helpful and kind. Highly recommended, will come back again.
No lift to the rooms upstairs and the WiFi wasn’t great.

The room was specious and clean.
Staff seemed to be covering multiple stations at once so there was sometimes a wait at the bar or to be seated for breakfast.
A excellent work stay again at the Mercure Norwich. The reception staff, Cat, Abs and Georgie are excellent and very helpful, Bar staff are friendly and quick, rooms are cleaned to a high standard
