A great hotel in a convenient location, 10 minutes drive from Waterloo battle site
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, a good size and most importantly as the weather was very hot, air conditioned. There was an excellent buffet selection for breakfast. Anything hot was cooked to order. We ate in the hotel restaurant on both nights of our stay and the food was also excellent with staff having a good knowledge of the dinner menu and wine able to advise if asked.

Cons:

Although the guest bedrooms are air conditioned this was not the case in the hotel reception, lounge and restaurant areas and was uncomfortable due to the heatwave during our stay.

Pros:

Meget sødt og hjælpsomt personale. Der er gratis vand i minibaren, en fantastisk botanisk have med mange steder at sidde og nyde en kaffe eller øl, god mad i deres restaurant. Beliggenheden er ud til Waterloo’s hovedgade med butikker, bagerier osv 😌❤️

2 kamers geboekt en voor 1 van de kamers een upgrade gekregen naar een appartement, keurig verzorgd. Elke dag keurig schoongemaakte kamers aangetroffen.

Helpful staff, very good breakfast with freshly cooked eggs and bacon. Secure bike parking. Flexible about a slightly early check-in.

The area immediately around the hotel is ok, but the main street in Waterloo is decidedly downmarket.
