Ideal for a short stay in Alesund!
Pros:

Friendly helpful staff. A spotless comfortable room with excellent shower pressure, and a great breakfast buffet each morning. Perfect for a short stay in Alesund!

Cons:

I was near the elevator, so a bit of traffic noise outside in the corridor at times. The room was a bit on the cool side for me and you don't have the option to adjust the temperature yourself in the room. Some hotels allow you to adjust 3 degrees in either direction, and that's a nice option to have. Neither of those are reasons not to stay here though - it's a lovely hotel.

We loved our stay at Hotel Noreg, great locations, had everything we needed and the art and vibe was fabulous.
Pros:

We loved the location, the ambience and vibe, the staff (Tora), breakfast and comfortable rooms.

Cons:

Single people being given smaller rooms even though they paid the same for a double.

Pros:

Best price and quality ratio.
Ver very good breakfest.
Super clean rooms and the rest of hotel.
Very nice that the hotel has gym + sauna(but if you use it turn it on yourself 2 hours prior to use).

Cons:

We liked everything.

Pros:

Room was good.
Breakfast was good+.
The hotel no longer does dinner in the evenings but there are many restaurants within walking distance. We ate at an Indian just across the street both nights of our stay.

Cons:

Parking was a bit of a nightmare, especially on the Saturday night. Had to drive round a few times before finding a space. First space I found between other parked cars, when I showed staff photo of parking space he indicated it was not a proper parking space, so I had to move.
They do have parking in a nearby park at 200nok per night if I remember correctly.

Sehr gute Wahl im Zentrum
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Atmosphäre sehr angenehm. Die Fenster waren schallisoliert, daher war es sehr ruhig obwohl man mitten in der Stadt ist. Das Zimmer war geräumig und die Betten bequem. Das Frühstück war gut.

Cons:

Es war alles in Ordnung

Pros:

Sentralt beliggende hotell i Ålesund sentrum med gode parkeringsmuligheter rett utenfor. Stort, moderne rom med behagelig seng, gode puter og smart-TV. Hyggelig og imøtekommende rengjøringspersonale som alltid hilste vennlig. God frokost med bredt utvalg for enhver smak. Rimelige rom.

Cons:

Resepsjonisten som tok oss imot, kunne vært betydelig mer imøtekommende og snakket i en vennligere og mer respektfull tone. Kommunikasjonen opplevdes som overlegen og autoritær. Det er også lite serviceorientert at man selv må hente ting i resepsjonen, noe vi ikke har opplevd som vanlig praksis på andre hoteller i Norge og utlandet.
Vi ønsket oss et rom i en høyere etasje og evt. et rom som vendte mot sjøen, men opplevde liten fleksibilitet. Resepsjonisten tildelte oss et rom så fort som overhode mulig uten å undersøke om ønsket vårt kunne imøtekommes.
Det er synlig misfarging og tegn til mugg på gulvet på badet, samt smuss på enkelte metalloverflater. Vi savnet også en flaske vann i kjøleskapet på rommet. Belysningen var mangelfull, med kun to små sengelamper og fire spotter som hovedsakelig vendte mot vinduene, noe som gjorde rommet mørkt.
Alt i alt er det forbedringspotensial når det gjelder service, fleksibilitet og romkomfort.
