I had an enjoyable stay in Farmington.
Pros:

Great location near highways but also away enough to be a quiet place. Beautiful courtyard. Friendly staff. Nice sized rooms and layout. Good breakfast. Safe, clean, good value.

Cons:

It’s showing its years some, but they’re doing a nice job maintaining it.

Drugs found in room!
Pros:

Im a Hilton honors member and generally trust the brand hence why I booked my stay here for my daughters 16th birthday.
I booked two rooms for a one night stay immediately upon entering both rooms we found crumbs on the carpet. I didn’t make a big deal they were just crumbs. Then in one room my 9 year old son went to use the bathroom and when he went to grab toilet paper a USED CRACK PIPE fell onto the ground. My son obviously not knowing what it was touched it and called my husband. My husband is a police officer and knew exactly what is was and had my son wash his hands immediately we called the front desk and Michael the manager came up immediately and took photos as did we.
Michael disposed of it as we were all unsure what to do. At this point we didn’t think police were needed as it was just paraphernalia.

Again in the same room as we were getting ready to go to bed my son moved the ottoman in the living room portion of the room to make space for the pull out bed and there he stepped into a white substance with his barefoot. He immediately called my husband again and which he determined it was actually CRACK COCAINE. We again called Michael at the front desk and he came up immediately we determined to called the local police to handle the situation now that illegal drugs were found. The police came agreed that it was crack cocaine, searched the room to make sure there was nothing else, and they made a report. We requested a new room and Michael did so immediately.

We are extremely upset about this incident as my son could’ve gotten severely injured or worse could’ve died had that crack been laced with fentanyl. Thankfully he is physically okay but is traumatized by the exposure. This incident could’ve been all together avoided before my family occupied the room IF the room had been properly cleaned and inspected as that’s the general expectation when booking a hotel room. We expected a thoroughly cleaned and safe living space for our stay. Had housekeeping vacuumed the living room properly they would move that ottoman which moved very easily and seen the drugs. If they had fixed the toilet paper like hotels usually do the pipe would’ve been discovered.

I would like to thank Michael for his attentiveness and eagerness to find a solution. He did a wonderful job with very limited resources and being the only employee working at that time. He was dealing with multiple guests and still was able to accommodate.

And although the issue has been resolved with comped rooms and points added to my account. It wasn’t until I called almost a week later to recieve some sort of recourse for the dangerous incident that occurred during my stay. The night of the incident the general manager was no where to be found after being contacted by the shift manager numerous times. The general manager of this location NEVER reached out to me and proceeded to tell corporate based on “previous conversations” he thought I was satisfied. Weird because I never once talked to the man not even out of courtesy did he call to makes sure my son was okay. I was going to hold off on this review but based on the totally unprofessional behavior of the general manager Nick I chose otherwise.

I thing the worst hotel
Pros:

They gave us a room very old and ugly. The carpet was dirty. They supposed to clean every each day and they didn’t and we have to tell them many times. I was in the same hotel in Orlando much better.

Great experience
Pros:

The person on the reception it was very helpful. I stayed there before and never found a person makes me feel i was home. Hopefully you train everybody to be like him

Housekeeping and total lack of concern by the manager, Steven Height. Night staff tried to be helpful but there was nothing they could do, except communicate with the manager. When I spoke and complained to the manager about the lack of housekeeping services, he did nothing and did not show any concern. Had one housekeeping service one day during a six night stay.
