The one desk clerk who listened and gave me solutions at the end of my stay, King. Otherwise I spoke to 2 other people who stopped responding to me instead of helping me.
Wasn’t notified of renovations until 5 hours before check in, at least 3 advertised amenities were unavailable, AC stopped working after 1 day into trip, room was stuck at 82 degrees, luckily the windows opened but unfortunately due to the location this made the room extremely loud, but we had no alternative since the room was too hot without the windows opened. Many more things wrong with my stay. Water marks and damage in the room, makes me wonder what’s hiding beneath the surface.
Beds were nice
We were not told until after we left our house, 6 hours before check in that the hotel was undergoing renovations, that there would be noise, dirt and dust kicked up. If I would have known before I would have planned better, but the noise and dust did me no justice. The fact is, it should have been stated to us when we first made the renovations or when the renovations started.
Suppose to be pet friendly, but there was no place for the pets to use the restroom. A fenced area with turf down could make all the difference.
The breakfast is always good!
The room and hotel were so hot! Like uncomfortable hot. Couldn't sleep, had to open a window which wouldn't open more than a crack. Also had a sign in for for no room service yet she came in while we were out and touched things!!!
It was close to everything we needed
We weren’t told the pool and the exercise room were closed for renovations which was partly the reason we booked that specific hotel, had I of known I would have booked somewhere else. My fiancé needed water therapy with an indoor pool because he has MS and this was partly the reason we needed a hotel with an indoor pool. The girl at the desk was a little rude when I told her we were checking in , and our room was missing items - a sponge to clean the dishes used - no body wash in the dispenser - etc things of that nature and then to make matters worse I sent a text thread out about some questions and no one responded. Also a little misleading that it states grub hub delivery cost are waved for staying at the hotel and what they fail to tell you is only if you spend a min of 50$. Just a lot of little things that lead to us not wanting to stay here again. Wouldn’t recommend it. I sent the hotel a complaint over these issues too and still haven’t heard back: the only person to respond in a timely manner was booking.com itself not the actually hotel. I’m still waiting for a response.

Employees were nice.
Toilet didn’t work, no maintenance on site to handle toilet issue. Had to plunge my own toilet, which wasn’t even the issue, problem with tank on back of toilet. Didn’t like that the Hotel was under construction with no mention of it anywhere, and no mention of pool being closed. Would have chose different hotel if it had been noted anywhere
Husband and I just left this Hilton location today. We were not satisfied with the experience. When we first got to the hotel, the only elevator available (the 2nd one was labeled “employees only” due to all the construction going on) wreaked of marijuana. Practically got a contact high standing inside. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the shower drain was clogged with hair, my husband had to clean it out to get the water to drain. The toiletry bottles in the shower were empty, and there was hair in my eggs at breakfast (definitely not mine). Add all this to the overall poor look of the hotel because of all the construction going on and it was not the best Hilton stay we’ve had. We usually don’t have any issues when we stay with Hilton, and we’ve visited several. We won’t be booking this location again.
The pool was absolutely disgusting. I’ve never seen anything like this. Major constructions all around the hotel and inside made it very dirty and uninviting. Beds were so uncomfortable we have back pain for several days after.
Staff is amazing. Breakfast is great. Front desk agents are very helpful, especially Jessica. All staff are friendly and always available when i need anything.
This place is in need of a major re-haul. I know it is about to go under construction, but the fact that this place lacks basic cleanliness is totally different than needing a renovation. We checked in after midnight, our bathtub had hairs in it, a brownish/black grime around the tub, stained hand towels, and the worst part was - the headboard of our bed looked like someone picked their nose and smeared it all over the fabric (or worse). The spare bedding for the pull out couch was also badly stained, and the cushions of the sofa looked like they hadn't seen a vacuum in 10 years. Luckily, we moved into a new room the next day. It wasn't as dirty as the first, but definitely not the cleanest. The hallway carpets had salt and pepper wrappers, debris on them, and a musty smell. We let our daughter try out the indoor pool, that lasted about 2 minutes when we realized how badly stained and dirty the bottom of the pool was. Also, the towels for the pool are the size of hand towels. The gym is the smallest hotel gym I've ever seen, but it does have a peloton. We were scheduled to stay here for an extended period of time for a work assignment, but are eagerly looking for an alternative arrangement. I'm very disappointed in this property, as Homewood Suites is typically my preferred hotel brand.
