OK hotel. Communication with staff lacking.
Pros:

Location close to the airport.

Cons:

Communication with staff. The shuttle service was the determining factor in choosing this hotel. It took multiple calls to the hotel for the shuttle driver was summoned to the airport to pick me up. After 15 mins, I called again. I was informed the driver would arrive within 5 minutes. He didn't. The hotel is less than 5 mins away from the airport. Clearly, the customer service was lacking. On final day departure, was informed that the restaurant would be late in opening by 20 mins. That would allow us to get a coffee and grab a pastry or some other 'grab and go' item. The restaurant did not open30 mins later.

Great location and good staff operating a hopeless facility
Pros:

Good restaurant and wait staff. Great location right by the airport. Good shuttle service.

Cons:

The hot water system is really a scalding hot and freezing cold water system, with unexpected changes when least expected! The room was very dated and not really clean or cleanable. Desperately needs a renovation.

. I was comfortable with our stay and would stay there again if there wasn’t anything else available near the Albany air

The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and dark for sleeping.

Cons:

I went down for breakfast this morning and was greeted by very rude people from the kitchen. First of all, I did not know it was a paid for yourself breakfast so I was looking for a takeout of a muffin and a cup of coffee. When I learned that you had to order off the menu and you had to pay for it, I was disappointed. But no one was more disappointed than the woman that waited on me. She just gave me a dirty look and walked away when I told her I didn’t want to order from the menu. Also, there was a man who was seating people that was very rude to a customer asking for milk. He kept saying we are all out of milk.

The bed was okay. And the bathroom seemed a little outdated. The place could use an upgrade. Other Hilton Garden inns I’ve stayed at were much nicer.

I was there for one night; it was pleasant and I slept well.

I would have liked to order breakfast items a la carte, as getting scrambled eggs, if I recall, also meant getting sausage and/or bacon, ham, or other items I don't eat.

Convenient comfortable pleasant
Pros:

We did not get breakfast as our departure was too early room was comfortable desk clerk pleasant.
Dinner was good and acceptable price

Cons:

Pool was very cold. “Gym” was minimal at best
We were told that coffee would be available before we left in the morning but it was not

Overall good choice
Pros:

Everything was great except the first front desk member when asked for a couple of extra coffees basically said well I’ll tell someone to bring you some. When after coming back from dinner (still not getting anything) another front desk manager now working when asked said sure and literally went behind the desk as grabbed a couple a face to use and said if there is anything else we need please let her know. Wow, what a contrast!!! Recommend a bit of training for the first guy for sure.

Cons:

I liked the place although first room they have smelled seriously like smoke.
