The rooms are not worth the price.
Pros:

I did not like anything.

Cons:

The television was outdated and broken. The shower heads look like they haven’t been replaced since the building was built and the drainage sucked. The lamps and furniture are outdated.

Poor Hilton
Pros:

Being a loyal Hilton customer who travels over half the year and I’ve seen a lot of poor hotels. This one is near the top. You walk in the lobby and it appears to be a very nice place. Then as you get on the elevator, you realize there’s only one elevator out of four working and the lines are long to get on that elevator and it takes forever I would never have chosen the 11th floor had I known there was only one elevator working. The air-conditioning in the room would not cool the room down the hotel appears to be falling apart with mold, peeling paper and trim that’s coming apart. Went to get some ice and there is no ice machine and the floors that do have an ice machine they don’t work. You have to I could go on and on, but I’m gonna keep it short. You can read the rest of the reviews. They’re all spot on. Hilton should be ashamed to have this branded as a Hilton. Would be better branded as a days inn. down to the front desk to get ice and there was a long line of people getting ice or trying to check in.

Dirty Mop Water
Pros:

I am disgusted by what I experienced at this Hilton. This was, without question, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and there is no justification for this property remaining open.

Check-in was chaos. Your system was down, the line stretched nearly out the front door, and guests stood in a sweltering lobby with no air conditioning. After finally checking in, my room keys didn’t work. Another guest had just been given keys to an occupied room where four people were already inside, an outrageous and dangerous security failure.

I was moved twice because neither replacement room had working air conditioning.

When I finally entered a room, I was met with torn furniture, stained upholstery, missing light bulbs, rust-covered fixtures, a filthy bathtub, and a bathroom that smelled like dirty mop water. The attached photos speak for themselves.

This wasn’t “wear and tear.” It was neglect. It was unsanitary. It was unacceptable.

Hilton should be embarrassed to have its name associated with this property. I paid for a safe, clean hotel room and instead received a building that appears to have been abandoned by management. This property should be closed until it meets even the most basic standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest safety. I will never stay at another Hilton property.

Hilton Gone Hood
Pros:

The staff was the only thing positive, everything thing else was absolutely dismissal and well below Hilton standard. Each room the smelled horrible, I stayed in 2 because the air conditioner & refrigerator wasn't working in the first one. At the very least housekeeping should maintain the carpet in the room as well as the carpet in the hallway. The carpet in both room smelled like like sweaty feet and pet odor. Out of 4 only one elevator worked, the ice machine on my floor didn't work. A huge disappointment to the Hilton brand and definitely NOT a 3.5 rated hotel.

Hilton Nightmare
Pros:

I travel frequently, and this is, without question, the worst Hilton property I’ve ever stayed in.

The experience started at check-in with a desk clerk who was rude and acted like guests were an inconvenience. From there, everything went downhill.

Out of four elevators, only one was operational—and calling it operational is generous. It jolts violently, the fire alarm randomly goes off, half the floor indicator doesn’t work, and it feels like you’re gambling every time you step inside.

Getting into the room is another adventure. The key card only works after what feels like standing on your head and performing a secret dance. Once inside, the air conditioning is essentially useless. I immediately set it to the lowest temperature, yet hours later the room was still 78 degrees. By 9:00 p.m., it had only dropped to 77 degrees. Sleeping in that is miserable.

We booked a room with two queen beds, yet the room had only one bath towel. That meant another trip on the “death trap” elevator just to get basic amenities.

The television didn’t work either—the entire screen was blue. Looking for another way to relax, we headed to the pool, only to find water that looked green enough to make us think twice about getting in.

The furniture throughout the hotel, especially the chairs in Fitzgerald’s and in the guest room, was absolutely filthy. They looked stained, worn out, and long overdue for replacement.

For $123 a night, I genuinely would have been better off staying at a truck stop. At least I would have expected fewer amenities and been less disappointed.

This hotel is in desperate need of renovations, better maintenance, and staff who understand hospitality. The Hilton name deserves far better than this property. I will never stay here again and cannot recommend it to anyone.

Don’t expect much..
Pros:

You will have to pay for your room when you’re only trying to place a reservation, the “hold” is false. You will also pay an Incidental fee. There is no set fee for this. It’s an “estimate” based on whoever is serving you, i guess.

The incidental fee “applies to everyone”, yet when we got to our room, it was 80 degrees and the ac didnt work. The mini fridge also didnt work.

I chose Hilton because I’ve never stayed with Hilton before. I was expecting higher class, so im writing this so you don’t expect the same as us.

The pool was so green you couldn’t see the bottom of the 3ft portion.

Will never use Hilton again.

Horrible Experience
Pros:

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at the Hilton in Jackson, Mississippi.

Upon my arrival on July 23, I checked into Room 523 and immediately noticed stains and spots on the bed. The toilet seat looked like it had been chewed up or severely damaged. After reporting these issues, I was moved to Room 701. Unfortunately, the second room was not much better. There were still stains on the bed linens, rust behind the toilet, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable.

To make matters worse, only one elevator was working during my stay, making it difficult to get around the hotel. It took approximately 45 minutes for housekeeping to bring me clean sheets after I requested them.

On July 24 at 7:00 a.m., I specifically requested fresh towels, clean linens, and fresh pillows. When I returned later, my pillows were still dirty, and the room had not been properly serviced.

Additional issues included:

Brown-colored water coming from the room’s water supply.
The ice machine was not working.
The refrigerator was either missing or not cold enough to safely store food and drinks.
The television did not work at all.

I have photographs documenting these issues.

While the staff’s attitude and hospitality were generally okay, the overall condition and maintenance of this hotel were extremely poor. The lack of cleanliness and the number of maintenance issues made for a very disappointing experience.

Because of the unsanitary condition of both rooms and the inconvenience I experienced throughout my stay, I believe I deserve compensation. This is not the level of quality I expect from a Hilton property, and I hope management takes these concerns seriously to improve the experience for future guests.

Serious Matter
Pros:

Dear Hilton Guest Relations,
I am writing to express my sincere disappointment regarding my recent stay at the Hilton Jackson in Jackson, Mississippi. My party checked in around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2026, and remained through the weekend. Unfortunately, our experience fell far below the level of quality and service that I have come to expect from the Hilton brand.
From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the hotel was experiencing significant maintenance issues. Throughout the entire weekend, only one of the hotel's four elevators was operational. With multiple family reunions and other events taking place, this created extremely long wait times, overcrowding, and unnecessary frustration for guests. Knowing that the hotel would be at or near capacity, I find it unacceptable that only one elevator was available for use during our stay.
Additionally, none of the ice machines on any of the floors were functioning. This was another inconvenience that affected every guest in the hotel, with no apparent alternative offered.
Our guest room also had several maintenance issues. The light fixture continuously blinked throughout our stay, making it uncomfortable to relax in the room. The television was also in poor condition, with the screen displaying a purple tint, making it difficult to enjoy. These issues should have been identified and corrected before the room was assigned to guests.
To make matters worse, when we returned to our room around 6:00 p.m. on Saturday after attending our family reunion picnic, our room had not been serviced. We were later informed that housekeeping had fallen behind because the hotel's washing machines were not working properly. While I understand that mechanical issues can occur, guests should not have to sacrifice the basic expectation of a clean room due to problems with hotel equipment.
Another noticeable concern was the worn-out chair in our room. It was visibly aged and in need of replacement, further reflecting the condition of the hotel. Based on what we experienced, it is clear that this property is in need of significant renovations and updates.
I chose Hilton because of its reputation for providing quality accommodations and excellent customer service. Unfortunately, this stay did not reflect those standards. The combination of broken elevators, non-functioning ice machines, unresolved room maintenance issues, missed housekeeping service, and the overall condition of the property made for a very disappointing experience. Another serious matter in our room 909 the door would not shut all the way without slamming it. We shut our door on Friday night and it wasn’t shut all the way and we slept in the room with the door opened.
Considering the numerous inconveniences we endured throughout our stay, I respectfully request that Hilton provide appropriate compensation, whether in the form of a partial refund, reimbursement, or Hilton Honors points. I believe this would be a fair acknowledgment of the inconvenience and disappointment we experienced.
I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address these issues promptly so that future guests do not encounter the same problems. I look forward to your response and to learning how Hilton intends to resolve this matter.
Thank you for your time and attention.
Sincerely,
Chandra Branch-Robinson

Very Disappointing Stay – Poor Maintenance and Service
Pros:

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. Only one elevator has been working, and we were told the other has been out of service for about a year. The lobby had no air conditioning, which made checking in and walking through the hotel very uncomfortable.
Our first suite had brown water coming from the faucets, so we had to be moved to another room. Unfortunately, the second suite was missing one of the TVs. We specifically booked a suite that was supposed to have two TVs, but the replacement room only had one.
For the price and the Hilton name, I expected much better maintenance and customer service. This property needs major improvements before I would consider staying here again.

Nasty and Dusty with Poor Customer Service and One Working Elevator
Pros:

The entire hotel smells like dirty mop water. There is one working elevator. Two customer service reps - Walter has the poor attitude. Every answer to my question was, “That’s above my pay grade.” When I asked for hand soap, he stated , “Housekeeping didn’t leave me any.” When asked what are quests to do about cleaning our hands, his response was, “I don’t know ma’am. Well.” He also hung the phone up on me - but did call me back with his sarcasm and rude attitude to inform me that there is no soap in the hotel. Very suspect. The hotel is extra dusty- poor cleaning and horrible smell topped off with Walter who is very unhelpful. The young lady was there by herself for a while as I stood in line waiting to be checked in at 9 pm because when I attempted to check in at check in time - I was told that my room was not ready. When I called at 6 I was told that my room was still not ready. Classic. Now at 9 pm I am faced with unprofessionalism and a nasty room with stained carpet and no soap. Unacceptable. Walter needs customer service training. He is dismissive and lacks professionalism.

Broken elevators terrible front desk staff, and zero maintenance.
Pros:

The management and front desk service at the Hilton Jackson are completely terrible. I had to walk up six flights of stairs to the penthouse multiple times a day due to poor maintenance. The staff is incredibly rude, and the property is neglected. I strongly advise spending your money elsewhere. I will never return.
