I checked in on 2/27. When I went into the room, there were more than 20 ladybugs. The front desk switched me to another room, but the second room also had ladybugs (though fewer) and a broken toilet.
When I asked for another room change, a different staff member was rude and said it would be the last change because other guests were checking in (it was after 11 p.m.) so it would be the room I had to stay regardless if I decided to change. She also told me the doors are open 24/7 so they can’t prevent ladybugs from flying in, and that ladybugs are not harmful.
Harmful or not, this is a hotel. I expect a clean room without insects and with working facilities. It’s especially ironic when the HGI Promise states the following, “ Our goal is to make your stay better and brighter. If something isn't just the way you like it, simply let any hotel team member know, and we'll make it right. Guaranteed.”
Very disappointing experience. I won’t be staying here again.

I had an absolute horrible experience at check in. The concierge treated me do bad. So disrespectful. I’ve never been treated thousands way. Shandia I think was her name. She harassed me all weekend. It was surreal. Like some game. She kept texting my phone. Very bad time

The location was excellent and easy to navigate.
The rooms could use some updating and breakfast shouts be complimentary. The price of breakfast was too expensive considering the price of the room and amenities.

We originally booked this room due to the reviews and unfortunately I wonder how honest the people were by their reviews. First of all the evening check in clerk was not very friendly. Second for some reason the bathroom door locked on us and in the middle of the night we couldn’t get into it. The phone in the room did not work so had to call from our cell phone. The nice lady at the desk was by herself and no maintenance were there. She brought up a couple tools in which I used and was able to get the door open. For the 2 night stay I had to keep my extra pair of shoes against the bathroom door so it wouldn’t lock on us. The tv remote was not easily operated as well as the blinds to the room. The only 2 good things were: Gloria the overnight lady and the cleanliness.
I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for one night while visiting a friend nearby in John 's Creek. I arrived late and also checked out early. If you're looking for a hotel in the Northern Suburbs away from the hustle and bustle of Atlanta I recommend this hotel. A safe place for your family if you're worried about Atlanta. Sort of located in a business park nothing really right next door but plenty of stuff nearby. A Kroger grocery store is really close and plenty of restaurants are located nearby.
I really liked the hotel and was surprised they were playing FOX News in the lobby. One would think in all places especially Atlanta they would have CNN on the tv. The staff were friendly and helpful. I wasn't able to use the gym or small outdoor pool. The room was nice and it seems the hotel was clean and modern. I liked my room the bed was fine but the pillows were tiny and small. I liked the bathroom and shower. The breakfast was above average with lots of choices. In fact it was better than the last three places I stayed. I wish Hilton would scrap the chicken sausage it looks unappealing and isn't very tasty. Loved the selections of fruit and yogurt. Overall this hotel was a positive experience and I would stay here again.

I arrived hotel at 1 :30 PM.
I wanted check in 1:30 PM. Staff said ,when I check in early ,I have to pay extra.
There was a light in the ac unit that kept flickering all night, Had trouble with sleeping. Other than that excellent room and property.
