Really bad
Pros:

This was one of the worst HGI hotels I have been to as a lifetime diamond member which is sad because the brand is usually very good and the staff here was very nice - with the exception of housekeeping. Room was filthy. There was a foreign substance on the table by the bed, hairs and dirt everywhere. Room had cracks and stains over the walls. Couch was so old there was no vision left. It needed a total refurb.
Housekeeping walked in on us while sleeping and did not apologize. The alarm went off at 6 am - not Hiltons fault here but probably a previous guest. It was a really bad hotel which was a mistake we made as there are so many good hotels in the area. Front desk very friendly.

Easy to get everywhere. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Bathroom was used and not cleaned. Bedding was dirty. We needed to request a new room. Manager was defensive when our concerns were expressed.

The parking lot was nice

Cons:

We are on a 10 day trip staying in a new hotel every night. This was the worst that I’ve ever stayed in. The inside of the hotel is old and worn. Carpets may be clean, but they are old. Our bed look like somebody has slept in it prior to our arrival. No port to plug in my cell phone. Bedding was worn complementary bottles of water were two dollars each. Breakfast was included, but at the cost of $10 each toilet was extremely low, and we had to struggle to get the water tap on in the sink. Hinge on the door was 18 inches in length. Gave the impression somebody had tried to break him. Not comforting. Staff was friendly, but there’s not much they could do.

Overall horrible experience
Pros:

Bedrooms not clean. Beds are very below average and your comforter is a bed sheet. Woke up with a sore neck every morning my the bed and the WORST pillows.

Second Visit
Pros:

Second vist with family due to a family member hospitalized at Hershy Medical.

Good things
The service is excellent, especially the front desk staff who went out of their way for us. We got connecting rooms and a medical rate without having to ask.
Rooms are a good size and a decently sized bathroom. Closet space is good for a longer stay.
Rooms are quiet
Aircon is efficient and not excessively loud
Mattress appeared brand new and was very comfortable
Good amount of towels in the bathroom for multiple people
Easy parking.
Public space needs new carpet but is otherwise in nice shape. Popcorn and cookies were lovely touches. The space is comfortable to hang out in
Decent gym
Nightlight in the bathroom is also a nice touch

Needs improvement
The pillows were not good. Very soft and losing loft.
The lighting is the room was newer but dim. Not good illumination overall
The bathroom door has a spring hinge on it, so it closes automatically. Which sounds great until you are trying to get ready and listen to the news at or a loved one taking at the same time and you have to prop the door open with a trash can to hear them.

Not good
The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. The sheets and bedding were clean. The floor and other surfaces were not. The tub antiskid visibilly had soap scum build up. The tub caulking had mold growth. The bedside and occasional table had debris and dust. The carpet between the beds had visible loose debris and hair, as did the bathroom floor. We cleaned and surfaces and covered the floor with some of those ample towels. Despite this, the issues were not corrected over two housekeeping visits during our stay. This is the number one thing I would urge management to look into. It's the only thing that wouod make me switch to another hotel if back in the area. There is a least one new build coming on line and a newer Tru down the street. This hotel needs a renovation, but if it was clean that would matter a lot less

It was just ok. Hallways and rooms need updating.

Old and dated. Only 1 elevator which was also shared with staff. Beds not comfortable, bedding old, carpeting stained. Needs a thorough updating.

Pros:

Anthony at the lobby bar was super nice. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Sadly it was Saturday night and there was a big football game on with 8 of us at the bar and he had to close at 10. Maybe staying open a bit later if there are guests enjoying their night might be better. Thank you
