Hilton Garden Inn Hershey

Very clean and quiet

Bedrooms not clean. Beds are very below average and your comforter is a bed sheet. Woke up with a sore neck every morning my the bed and the WORST pillows.

Second vist with family due to a family member hospitalized at Hershy Medical.

Good things
The service is excellent, especially the front desk staff who went out of their way for us. We got connecting rooms and a medical rate without having to ask.
Rooms are a good size and a decently sized bathroom. Closet space is good for a longer stay.
Rooms are quiet
Aircon is efficient and not excessively loud
Mattress appeared brand new and was very comfortable
Good amount of towels in the bathroom for multiple people
Easy parking.
Public space needs new carpet but is otherwise in nice shape. Popcorn and cookies were lovely touches. The space is comfortable to hang out in
Decent gym
Nightlight in the bathroom is also a nice touch

Needs improvement
The pillows were not good. Very soft and losing loft.
The lighting is the room was newer but dim. Not good illumination overall
The bathroom door has a spring hinge on it, so it closes automatically. Which sounds great until you are trying to get ready and listen to the news at or a loved one taking at the same time and you have to prop the door open with a trash can to hear them.

Not good
The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. The sheets and bedding were clean. The floor and other surfaces were not. The tub antiskid visibilly had soap scum build up. The tub caulking had mold growth. The bedside and occasional table had debris and dust. The carpet between the beds had visible loose debris and hair, as did the bathroom floor. We cleaned and surfaces and covered the floor with some of those ample towels. Despite this, the issues were not corrected over two housekeeping visits during our stay. This is the number one thing I would urge management to look into. It's the only thing that wouod make me switch to another hotel if back in the area. There is a least one new build coming on line and a newer Tru down the street. This hotel needs a renovation, but if it was clean that would matter a lot less

The location and price.

Anthony at the lobby bar was super nice. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Sadly it was Saturday night and there was a big football game on with 8 of us at the bar and he had to close at 10. Maybe staying open a bit later if there are guests enjoying their night might be better. Thank you

Clean ,convenient and near all attractions. Every food choice possible in walming distance

Never again in my life. Not worth the price it’s not even 2 stars. Customer service is trash

The staff is fabulous and the rooms are so clean this is our second time here and will be back next year!

Stayed with my wife and two kids and this was the worst Hilton experience I’ve ever had. Room and common areas were dirty—dusty surfaces, stained/dirty carpet, dirty TV and remote. Asked to switch rooms and the “new” room was in the same condition. Housekeeping only dropped off towels instead of cleaning. I usually trust the Hilton name, but this location did not meet brand standards. I can’t recommend it for families who need a clean stay.

The property management should be proactive when booking a suite for 6 people. There should be adequate towel sets available to accommodate the number of guests when they arrive to the property.

Suite wasn’t so sweet! Check in was a half hour late, property was no where near capacity. Room had too many issues (not clean) for a suite I would expect more. For a Hilton property I would also expect more!

This hotel was very outdated,
which doesn’t bother me as long as it’s clean.
It was not clean. The room was nasty, so much dust and dirt around and on everything. The microwave and fridge were dirty. The walls were dirty. The bedding was stained and dirty. The bathroom had toothpaste all over sink area, the shower was gross with old dirty,yellow shower curtain. I had asked them to go in and clean up when we arrived and they basically wiped the floor a little bit. They really need to deep clean their rooms because we felt icky. We had to stay because of no other option and lucky had our own pillows and blankets but I would never stay here again and I would never recommend this hotel. Also the pool is tiny and always crowded and very loud because it echos in the pool area. If you want a fun place for your kids this isn’t it. This was the first time I have stayed in a hotel that was so gross- so I feel I want to warn people.

It is a fine hotel for a quick overnight, but if you’re looking for long term stays this isn’t the place. Food area is small with limited selection, rooms are dated and have that moist wet air feel. The hotel is clean yet you leave feeling just a little gross.
