It was nice to have breakfast and a shuttle to the airport.
Needed to be updated and cleaned better.
The free shuttle and drivers are great!
Staff was polite, breakfast was better than expected.
I had to extend my stay due to business project reasons, and the staff made it easy.
I checked in with my wife on 3/3 for one night at approx 5:30 pm.
1st issue - The front desk clerk informed me that the name on my account didn't match my Country Inn account number ( I have asked this to be updated multiple times ) I informed her at the time it was set up, that the person filled in my middle name ( Gene ) from my license instead of my first name which is Kelly. I was told that she would update it for me.When I checked out my name was still incorrect on my statement.
2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th issue - When in our room my wife decided to take a shower before bed around 7:00pm. When I heard the shower shut off, I proceeded to do the same. While I was walking towards the entrance door, I heard someone slide a door key in the door and opened it into the room. I came face to face dressed in only underwear to a woman pulling her rollaboard bag into my room. I asked her what she was doing and she explained she was just entering the room that was just given to her and showed me her key card and folder that had our room written on it by the front desk employee. She apologized and backed out of the room and said she would go find out what was going on. I then tried to call the front desk myself and found out the phone in the room doesn't work, no dial tone and no way to even call internally to the front desk for assistance. So I got dressed and went downstairs to figure out the situation. I was told by the front desk employee not to worry about it, that she had already rebooked the woman in a different room. I asked how she could have made the mistake and she proceeded to tell me "That it was a system problem and sometimes that happens". I asked " So this isn't the first time?" and she replied " No" I asked her "If anybody was working to resolve the problem?" and her response was " I don't know" . Then she said she was " Sorry, but it was all taken care of" in a dismissive response. I then told her about the phone not working in our room and that I tried calling her when it happened. Only for her to tell me " That many of the phones within the rooms don't work ". To that I asked " Is that being addressed, for emergency situations " she answered " I don't know " again in a very flippant attitude.I went back upstairs only to find out I was locked out of my room " because she had given access of my room to the other woman, which canceled out my cards. So I went back downstairs. I gave my cards back and asked for new ones, which she acted like I was being unreasonable for requesting keys that worked for my own room.
6th issue - We had an early 6am flight out of the airport and tried to get some sleep after all of this. At approximately 10:00 pm there I'm guessing 3-4 people gathered around the second level elevator talking loudly and laughing for 30-45 minutes. Since my door was 210 and next to the elevator I would have on any given night called the front desk to have them go elsewhere, maybe to their own room. But I couldn't because my hotel phone doesn't work. I thought about going downstairs and reporting the issue, but that would mean walking by the people gathered and coming back to my room. Since I didn't want to escalate the problem and end up being retaliated against I laid awake hoping they would leave which they did about 45 minutes later.
The bed had crumbs in it from I'm a previous occupant eating in it.
The area it was also quiet
It was dirty towels left hanging in bathroom
Liked most that the airport shuttle was available
Breakfast was good.
Not happy that they were advertised for having a hot tub and then get there and they had removed it.
