I'm a Hilton Honors member for many years, vacillating between Diamond and Gold status. I gave my adult daughter Hilton Honor points for 5 nights to celebrate her birthday at Hilton, Tel Aviv. I was shocked when she was told at check-in they wouldn't honor the free breakfast included in my Honors status without me being there. In all my years of giving my children points, no hotel has ever denied my children the privileges that are awarded me. Instead, Hilton Tel Aviv wants to charge her $54 for breakfast, $270 for 5 days. So shortsighted and tacky. I could have used other credit card points besides Hilton for her to stay at another hotel that does include benefits that are awarded to me, the card holder. Honor members beware of this practice although Hilton Tel Aviv may be the only hotel that has this practice. I spoke with Hilton Honors customer service. They tried to help but the hotel refused to budge.
I did not stay at the hotel. I did however schedule massages for me and a friend. We both felt the Thai oil massage was amazing. The spa itself is another thing. There was no where to remove or dress for privacy. The showers are tiny. The steam room was out of order. There was no body lotion available after taking a shower.
The four unequivocal and irreplaceable 5-Star pluses of the Tel Aviv Hilton are its location, location, location and the staff of the Vista Lounge on the 17th floor.
All are as good as they could possibly be… add to this being surrounded by a beautiful park for walking, an Olympic size pool, forever Mediterranean Sea/beach views and — the Tel Aviv Hilton should easily be a 5-Star Hotel.
But, the hotel has shortcomings that quite frankly are ridiculous for a hotel located in a world class setting for both commerce and tourism.
First, even though the list of amenities says there is a gift shop, there is NOT one! I have been traveling the world for work/play for over 40 years and the Tel Aviv Hilton is the only major hotel I have ever stayed at with absolutely no place to buy toiletries, medications or charger chords accidentally left at home, feminine hygiene products, a snack for the car, swag to commemorate the visit (hats, t-shirts etc.) or last minute gifts for family and friends awaiting my return.
The hotel has a top of the line jewelry store (H Stern), an Art Gallery and a top of the one dress shop… but absolutely no place to do the often last minute shopping travelers routinely depend on.
Having a gift shop is an essential amenity travelers demand and depend on whether or not it makes a profit… not having one is a “Red Flag” that’s says loud and clear that hotel management either doesn’t know or care what business and vacation travelers need/want.
Second, portions of the hotel — common areas (Inside and out) and some of the rooms are just tired… Management needs to “invest to be the best.”
There was cockroach on my night stand. I complained to the Manager Jason Hare and was told that it’s part of nature. I vehemently disagree!! Are you serious. It about cleanliness and obviously they’re below standards. Horrible experience. Horrible!!
Another phenomenal stay!
World class hotel, restaurants, bars, spa/gym, pool/cabana, fully stocked business lounge with food, snacks, beverages, alcohol, from early morning until 11pm every day!
Excellent service, staff, and amenities.
Comfy, elegant, and accommodating.
Fav hotel.
Really had an amazing experience here! The accommodations are beautiful and the staff Is beyond impressive. They are friendly yet extremely professional.
Been staying here for over 20 years. The property is just not the same. I was very grateful to be upgraded to a suite (diamond member) but it ended there, the rooms and hallways are tired and smell of mildew.
Breakfast food seems old, service non existent, no one offered coffee, no one to clean plates other than let it pile up in the middle of the table.
Towels both in the room and at the pool are stained and fraying.
Bed worn out and uncomfortable.
When checking in we were explained that due to lower occupancy the executive lounge will only open at 3PM daily. We booked in May for an end of July-August stay, not once were we sent a letter, an email, or contacted via the app to let us know. If we knew in advance we would have looked at other properties.
All in all it’s not the property it used to be.
First, the pool water was freezing—even in mid-July! It was too cold to use, even for the kids. Breakfast was charged for our children, despite booking a room that included them and being Diamond members, which should have entitled us to free breakfast.
The balconies were unusable due to constant cigarette smoke drifting from neighboring rooms, and the hotel took no action to enforce any non-smoking policy.
There’s no dedicated beach area for the hotel—it’s a public beach shared with everyone, often occupied by surf lessons, making it hard to enjoy. That said, the water is very clear and a great depth for kids, with a perfect temperature.
Overall, nothing about our stay made us feel valued as Diamond members, despite also being Hilton Amex cardholders. Very disappointing.
Hilton in july :)
We just stayed at the hotel for few days celebrating my sisters wedding and
I want to fully recommend staying at the Hilton - our whole family had a great time !
The food was very good ! Rooms were clean and felt great with the ocean view !
There is one employee - SAVVA whom I want to thank especially since he did so much for us - took care of anything we needed help with and made sure we had this great experience !
SAAVA- you are one of a kind and a true asset to the hotel !!
Thank you very much and can’t wait to visit again
Very accommodating and kind, perfect location - what more could you ask for
Once again we had an incredible experience at Hilton Tel Aviv.
Staff are all helpful and really nice.
Gold status was recognised with a room upgrade and a gift in the room.
This is the best hotel in the area.
Apart from the great location, it is the combination of little things which add up to make this a terrific hotel.Everything works well, is thought out and consistent.Add in wonderful staff and it makes the experience of staying here so rewarding.

Great Hotel, located at the north path of Tel Aviv’s promenade. Check in was fast and easy. The Hotel and the room specifically were really clean and nice. Very good feeling when you enter the hotel. It also felt very secured. The hotel has access to the beach and you can pick up towels from the pool. One disadvantage is that at the beach, right in front of the hotel, you cant get any chairs.quite strange the hotel doesn’t offer it for its guests. Breakfast was very good with variety of food and good service.
Overall very good hotel, recommended for couples, and business.
We stayed at Hilton Tel Aviv for 5 nights with family—including my wife, our 6-month-old baby, and extended family. For one night, we booked a total of 8 rooms, clearly making this an important visit. Despite being a Hilton Diamond member and having stayed at many hotels around the world, this stay was by far the worst experience I've ever had, especially regarding customer service.
From the moment we checked in, the reception staff were cold, unfriendly, and clearly poorly trained. They couldn't answer basic questions about the hotel, like parking arrangements, causing confusion right from the start.
One issue involved our teenage nephews being rudely thrown out of the hotel pool. Staff bluntly told them, "it's not a public pool,". They provided their room number and said they were guests, but this didn't help. When we reported this to reception, instead of an apology, we received excuses and accusations without anyone checking the facts. They unfairly suggested the kids were misbehaving, which was completely untrue.
Breakfast was another disaster. The hotel incorrectly charged us for 8 breakfasts instead of the actual 6. When we tried clarifying this repeatedly, front desk staff, especially Tanya and her colleague, were incredibly rude, rolling their eyes and openly accusing us of dishonesty. When we asked to speak to the manager, Moti, he was even worse. He flat-out refused to believe us or check security cameras to verify the truth, rudely dismissed our concerns, and arrogantly said he was already "doing us a favor" by not charging us for even more people.
Other issues included a hotel-arranged taxi refusing to use its meter, clearly trying to scam us, showing that the hotel isn't properly vetting their endorsed taxi services. During one of the breakfasts, the omelet cook was openly using his personal phone while making food, which was unhygienic and unprofessional. I was also rudely confronted by a staff member when I wore a robe from the sauna back to my room—she aggressively told me off and only backed down without any apology when I explained I was a hotel guest heading to my room.
On the positive side, the housekeeping staff were friendly, professional, and thorough. Also, the hotel's location and views are nice. But unfortunately, these positives couldn't make up for the incredibly poor service, rude behavior, and disrespectful treatment from staff and management.
I strongly recommend travelers avoid Hilton Tel Aviv. Management urgently needs to fix these serious service issues, but sadly, the current management itself appears to be a big part of the problem. These people shouldn't be running a hotel, let alone a Hilton.
Our go-to hotel in Tel Aviv
I stayed at the Tel Aviv Hilton in June of 1967. Since then I have returned on many dozens of occasions. This hotel is my home away from home! I highly recommend it! Outstanding breakfasts! The Vista lounge is wonderful!
Really lovely hotel right on the beach. Hotel was impeccably clean and well maintained. We stayed on the Vista level and really enjoyed the lounge which has amazing views of the sea, Tel Aviv and old Jaffa. The lounge also has snacks, food and liquor available throughout the day. In the morning you can enjoy breakfast there or in the restaurant downstairs which has a lovely and lavish spread. Location is great as we were able to walk to many places or easily get a taxi. In the mornings, there is easy access to the boardwalk for walks or runs by the beach. Will definitely return.
Everything about this hotel was great. Very modern, comfortable, great food, great fitness room, great executive lounge for highest Hilton Honors, and great staff. Expensive but you really feel special here. On site parking for a fee. Great access to beach and tayelet.
Nice room , the hotel is near the beach, goog wiwe, good breakfast, the service was great and I enjoyed very much, I like to stay there, I will come back we eat dinner in the traklin, and we stay in high floor, it was wonderful stay, near the sea, I like the hotel
