What We Needed, easy overnight

Disappointing and stressful.
Pros:

I appreciated that the staff were sorry about the horrible state of the hotel and very apologetic about the ongoing construction (regarding which, Booking.com provided no warning). I was moved to a brand new room on the 6th floor that was very nice and clean, but the cold lighting and bare flooring made it feel unwelcoming.

Cons:

The past reviews/rating for this hotel are totally outdated. The hotel was in a horrible, filthy state undergoing construction as of Feb 2026. There was constant hammering and drilling from early to late. Guests were notified Wednesday evening that there would be no water in the building from 9am until 2pm the next day with no compensation provided. This hotel should not be open until the construction is complete and the entire building is at the standard of the new rooms on the 6th floor.

Pros:

It was quiet and was very impressed with the breakfast options.

Cons:

the room was a bit of a mess. The bathroom had holes in the ceiling, wallpaper patches falling off, screws coming loose from the shower curtain rod and the shower curtain itself was torn. The spout for the bathtub was VERY loose and the shower pressure was very poor regardless of setting

We were pleased with the proximity to the airport and I-95. We felt rested.
