Nice stay at the Hampton Inn
Pros:

Hotel was very clean. It had a very good breakfast that was included in the room rate The staff was very courteous and professional. I would definitely stay at a Hampton Inn again.

The experience was decent last yr; this year very terrible; I will Never stay here again!!!

The location of the hotel is great. I will stay at other hotels that are in the vicinity and Never at this hotel again.

Cons:

The staffs( Hector and Liz) were unprofessional, uncaring and rude except for the waitress during breakfast; they lied and informed me that Booking.com did not receive their message that my arrival date had changed therefore they cancelled my reservation and had me rebook at a regular room instead of the original room with suite I had reserve, I also paid a higher rate for a smaller room. However, the Hampton Inn in Charleston North Carolina had my new arrival date in their system. I had changed both dates through Booking.com on the same day. I was informed I would speak with the manager (Allen) but he never came out to speak with me instead I had to discuss this issue with a Liz who was very unprofessional and defensive when I tried to discuss the email confirming my arrival changes, my concerns and issues with her. She informed me to call Booking.com and "fight" them because they(Hampton Inn) cannot help me. But she was not very professional or pleasant even if they couldn't help me. Also the room was old, smelled damp, moldy and the bathroom drainage in the bathtub and sink were poor.

I would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay!

I would like to recognize your breakfast hostess, Ms. Isabelle. I witnessed her greeting every customer with a smile and a "good morning" welcome. Her positive, cheerful demeanor is a great way for customers to start their day. She is truly an ambassador for your hotel. I would come back for another stay just to talk to her during my breakfast.”

Wow- Absolutely Amazing Stay
Pros:

My family and I had an amazing time staying at this Hampton Inn location, second time we've stayed there while on vacation to Charleston. The entire team is absolutely great at meeting and exceeding customer satisfaction. The front desk reception team was beyond accommodating to us from extra blankets to hot water and even storing my golf clubs. The breakfast setting and team as equally as impressive; greeted us every morning as if we were family! We will return next spring to this location - loved it!! Thank you all for making our vacation extra special.

Great location and friendly staff
Pros:

Super friendly employees at this location and convenient to the Isle of Palms as wells as walking distance to a shopping center. I’ve stayed at this location on several occasions for several years and the employees are always super friendly and approachable at this location. Rooms are old and breakfast is typical of other Hampton Inns but great service is hard to beat. Hotel is walking distance to several nearby shopping centers and easy to drive to. Other hotels near this location may be newer but hard to beat the service here. Daily room service was available but I told them at check in it wasn’t needed. Use of the text messaging feature was super handy. Will be back in the near future.

Good stay for a couple nights while visiting Charleston
Pros:

Property is well maintained and check-in and keys via app were easy. It was close to shopping and walkable to several markets and restaurants. Room was great and breakfast was as well.

Pros:

Overnight stay. Bed and pillows okay. Good water pressure in bathroom and ample hot water. Good lighting in the bathroom. Working refrigerator. Breakfast was the unusal but good. Friendly staff.
