Pros:

Everything was as good or better than we expected. We are Hampton Inn regulars.

Cons:

I was very disappointed that I had to pay an additional $14 a day for parking. I may use a different Hampton Inn on my next trip to Charleston because of that or maybe a differen hotel, like the one across the street that doesn't charge for parking.

Be aware that you have to pay for parking using an app. It was $14 for a night. The room didn't smell the best. The sink faucet was loose and barely reached the sink. Booked this because it was close to the airport.

Pool Failed Environmental Inspection ☹️
Pros:

Rooms were clean and comfortable, consistent with other Hampton Inn and Suites.

Cons:

The air conditioner and ice machine on the second floor were obnoxiously loud. The staff seemed disinterested when another guest complained to the front desk. Staff also seemed exasperated and "put out" when I requested late check out. Finally, I selected this specific hotel as I was hosting out of country guests on a summer trip and they asked for a hotel with a pool. The hotel website specifically advertises a pool, however, the pool had been shut down by the Department of Environmental Protection. Staff at the front desk explained unsympatheticly that the pool had just failed inspection. Staff once again seemed disinterested that the advertised pool was closed indefinitely during peak tourism season in the summer. Very disappointing for a Hilton owned chain hotel that has been consistently above standards in other locations.

Pros:

They charge $14.00 a day for parking and the hotel is rundown. I am very disappointed in my room, My room smells like someone has been smoking in here. A weird smell!!

Nickel and dime policies.
Pros:

While traveling as a Hilton Honors gold member I always use the Hilton app for reservations.
Recently while traveling and staying in multiple Hampton Inns I was disappointed for the first time.
Upon arriving at this location which is 20 miles from any prime location I arrived to discover there is a self parking fee And you are required to go online to register and pay for your nightly parking as a guest.
Again self parking fee policy. for a location that would be classified as a prime real estate location subject to high parking demand.
Do yourself a favor and search for a more suitable facility with welcoming policies.
