Love the location even if parking is an issue!
Pros:

Location was perfect for the film festival I was attending. And the bonus regarding location is close proximity to St. John the Evangelist Cathedral, one of my favorite cathedrals. I was able to attend mass in the morning before heading home!

Cons:

A friend texted for a ride home since her flight was delayed. It was completely unexpected. I realized I hadn't checked out so I called instead. One service person said I was checked out and another said no I wasn't so there was conflicting info. Also, the parking is a bit expensive for overnight at 777 Rockwell garage.

Very pleasant stay
Pros:

We spent one night at this hotel, with 4 kids. The suite was spacious, clean and in very good condition. There were no unpleasant odors, and it was actually quiet despite the busy street outside. The staff was very friendly.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a 10-minute walk away.

The breakfast was standard and generous (hard-boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes, sliced ​​bread, scones, yogurt, fruit, etc.). The only downside was the presence of a school group: they were noisy in the evening (though I bless the person who went to ask them to quiet down—three times!— I don't know if that was a teacher or a staff member). They also monopolized the breakfast buffet, causing a line to form and making us run late for our plans for the day. Perhaps the hotel should assign specific time slots to large groups so that they have breakfast during "off-peak hours," rather than 8:30 AM when all the other clients are there.

Please note: the hotel does not have an attached parking lot—only valet parking for $55. We parked our car in the lot right next door at 777 Rockwell Ave (booked via SpotHero), which cost us $27.

Cons:

cleanliness. From the start, the welcome mat in front of the desk was disgusting. Something easily fixed that can have huge impact. Literally it’s the first thing people see, and from there one starts looking for other unfavorable things. The stainless steel in the elevators is filthy. The rooms were clean, that was all ok. Would be nice to have a mirror with magnifier for guests over 40, for applying makeup. The person at the desk the night we arrived was not friendly at all. The gentleman at the desk when we left was awesome and courteous. The valet did a great job, very convenient with the text messaging and paying was quick. Gym was great. One of our TVs in the room had no signal (room 709) hope this helps, thanks!

I can't complain about the stay. The hotel lobby
Cons:

There was some hair in the tub but I cleaned it out. The lady who handles the breakfast could be a little friendly by greeting with a hello when she comes out of the kitchen. I'm not saying for her to holler across the floor.

Pros:

Great location, we were in town for a Cavs game and it was a couple of blocks away from the stadium. Breakfast was typical Hampton Inn breakfast and room was clean and comfortable.
