The gal at the desk was exceptional.
The price of the room.
Comfortable room, kind and attentive staff. average breakfast, clean public spaces. However this property is in dire need of updating, Wear & tear evident. Minor mold in shower.
Never would have thought I would be stuck in Gaylord. Snowmaggedon 26 made me, my mom and 8 month old, residents of the very accommodating Hampton Inn. The general manager Jennifer is so kind, hospitable, and hard working .I feel I owe her big time. The rooms were clean. The pool was nice. The staff was super helpful. It really made a bad situation easier to handle. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your over and above assistance.
Beds were clean and comfortable.
Carpet in hallways were worn and need to be replaced
Enjoyed the exercise room/pool. Quiet and close to downtown and Walmart.
Dirty wash cloth was left on the bathroom sink. Shower head lacked decent water pressure for showers. Daytime desk clerk lacked personality, while the nighttime one very good and friendly. The waffle machine broke on us and pour batter all over non-stop. Did not like having to jump through hoops on my phone when first scheduling reservation. One thing that really kind of upset me was getting an email saying we had to wear a mask (after we paid for the room) going back to the pandemic days. Then when we got to the hotel no one was wearing them.
Great location, with good breakfast, shower water pressure is great!
Beds are Hard. The hotel is in desperate need of a remodel
No bag for ice bucket. Unable to go in side door, key didn't work. Room was not ready upon arrival.
That the parking could accommodate an F350 truck and 40' boat trailer.
The room was Nasty, I had to walk with sandals on. I don't know what was all over the carpet stickiness, wine/blood., goop.
Clean, good repair, nice breakfast, spacious
Nothing
Nice motel but needed upgrades for handicap accessible.
Location
I had reserved a handicapped room. The issues were all around this. It appears to me this room had not been used in a long while. Dirty rug n dusty furniture. Several items were missing that all handicapped rooms always have. No
Cups although the staff said we weren’t looking in correct place. Incorrect. No cups or glasses. No large towels, no pencil or paper . No soap, no blanket . Even though summer some people need a blanket no matter what time of year. The bed was made so tightly , I could not get in and pull the sheets up the bed was half sheeted. The air conditional is broken. It banged all night and made a clicking noise. I could not read the temperature on the wall thermostat as some of the display lights were burned out. There was no chair or table in the bathroom to hold my equipment . No size chair or stool with a mirror lower down for a wheel chair so I I could see myself it. No table in the room to help me place again my equipment . I did not have a bunch but handicapped persons do have special things to travel with . I had a terrible stay . I don’t think I should have to pay for this! SLC rm 123 handicapped space.
Very good breakfast.
All was good
Upon arrival (8p), the front desk person was not very friendly. She was on her phone while guest stood at the front desk. Oddly, when I handed her cards (debit &ID) she wouldn’t hand them back to me. She would only place them on the table for me to pick it back up. The room was not great either. It was carpet and it was clearly dirty! The water didn’t drain in the bathroom sink and slow to drain in the tub also. Long story short…. STAY AT TRU.
