Good price
Pros:

It was a nice clean hotel with a good free breakfast and coffee, tea etc available all day long.

Cons:

First floor room was a little noisy with traffic in the hall but it was convenient. Not sure i would want a first floor room with a longer stay.

Disappointing.
Pros:

The room furniture was filthy dirty as was the sofa in the dining area. Room had a musty, dirty smell. The only reason we stayed was it was storming nastily and getting late to find another room for the night.

Cons:

The dirty, smelly room. Whole hotel needs cleaned, furniture replaced and updated. Staff was pleasant. Otherwise, deeply disappointed in Hampton Inn. They have gone downhill over the last few years.

Pros:

Breakfast was very good.

Cons:

They were working on the plumbing outside our door and no one told us until we questioned the workers. Management should have told us early that morning so we could brush our teeth, use the bathroom and shower before the water was turned off. Other than that we would come back.

Great staff but need refurbishing of the rooms.

Needs updating especially the carpet and bathroom. Have a pool but unable to use.

Mount Dora Gem
Pros:

A truly wonderful hotel located in the sleepy town of Mount Dora. Short ride to downtown Mount Dora. Very comfortable beds. Delicious, plentiful breakfast offered in the morning. Couldn’t ask for more.

Good location, great staff but very dirty.
Pros:

with old toothpaste splatter from previous guests. the shower head was old and looked to have moldPros: Staff were excellent and very helpful. Location was good.
Cons: Very dirty. Bathroom mirror frame (black) was caked on it. Microwave was filthy. They are still using dingy circline florescent bulbs in the lamps. Carpet was dirty. I don't know if Hilton is to blame or Southern Hospitality Management and Development Corp as they are the franchise owners, but someone needs to inspect the property and bring it up to Hilton standards Very disappointed.

Exactly what we needed.
Pros:

The staff was delightful and inviting. The General Manager went above and beyond for my family, which meant the world to us. I would definitely recommend this hotel not becuase of the property itself, but for the leadership and staff who made our stay very pleasant. Great job and thank you!

It was my first time staying in Mount Dora and I enjoyed it
Pros:

The breakfast was good. There was a variety of food available. The location was great because it was close to everything. The staff was very friendly and respectful

Cons:

I didn't like that there was frequent barking from an apparent guest's dog, and that there were traces of dog feces in the lobby hallway that I made aware to a front dest attendant as well as a larger amount outside on the walkway to the east parking lot. Pet owners need to clean up after their pets. I don't enjoy having to play hopscotch around dog feces. Shame on the dog owner for not cleaning it up.
