The rooms were recently refurbished and in excellent condition.
The location is fantastic and walking distance to restaurants, other pubs and the beach.
It is a working class pub but the entrance to the accommodation is off a side door so you dont have to walk throught the bar if you are a bit timid.
The TV is the room was a bit problematic - but not a real complaint as I just flicked it on the background noise and when it didn't work I didn't care - a good thing probably! Room are upstairs and there is no lift so not suitable for everyone.
Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Good air conditioning for the extreme heat and staff very friendly and attentive.
Location and staff are wonderful
Distance from car park to rooms with luggage is a bit much
was just quiet something different and right near the beach

The location of the Exeter was perfect for us. Close to Semaphore and Port Adelaide. With plenty of free parking. The staff were great and a free drink made the stay even better.

Table & Chair/s would have been good
Security arrangements for room was good. Unauthorized access would have been difficult.
No chair in room.
We both were very happy with the room/bed & facilities, we said we would stay there again
lovedthe meals - able to be delivered to room. Very modern and clean bathroom facilities.
As an older person about 21 stair to climb with a heavy bag.
Love this little place.... clean, neat and tidy and within my price range!
There is a tapping noise coming from above in room 3 and 4 not sure if it is a tap or something dripping but that's the only tiny issue
Modern and spacious. Well appointed for a 'pub room'. Great bathroom. The corridors and stairs had great character.
The overall feel was let down by the pub underneath. Whilst the staff were excellent and most customers were fine, there were many obvious regulars who detracted from the classiness of the accommodation. I sat outside to get some fresh air. I must have sat at the 'wrong' table, as a woman who had been drinking heavily sat in a seat right next to me. I was alone on my table and her mates were in the next table. She lit up a 'rolly' and puffed away right next to me. Smoking killed my father at 52, so I have zero tolerance for smokers, so I left and drank somewhere else.
I have no doubt that she was telling me that I was on one of 'their' tables!
