Staff very nice.
Parking lot. And have pay park to stay at hotel
Asked for an early check. In. Said we would be there between 1 to 2. Arrived at 115. Was told by front desk it would cost 50 dollars to check in early. We never came across that w any Hampton inn. Then asked if we could use the workout room and was told that we needed a key. Went to lunch came back checked in. I recieved an e mail asking how my stay was going so far and explained what had happened. Element of said anything but he asked. Followed up by a response from a different person explains that I were sold out the night before and there were no rooms available. So two different answers. I responded we could have checked in if we paid the 50 dollars. Didn’t want to get into a pissy match. Went to national harbor for early dinner and bought sole products from mini mart. Shameka at the front desk asked us what happened when we gave r room number. She was grea. Explained new staff and management that the girl at the front desk was probably confused. Shameka and Mimi the young lady at the front desk when we checked out were excellent. We have stayed there four times since October. We will be back
Possibly if just let us use the facility’s instead of sending us on our way for an hour and a half. We just drove 7 plus hours. Didn’t see what front desk just could let us in the fitness center things happen r stay was
breakfast
shuttle would have been nice
My review is specifically for the staff, who are receiving 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. We stayed 4/6/26 - 4/10/26.
The front desk staff was readily available to help problem-solve any issues that came up. And seeing how we were traveling with 53 8th-graders, issues came up.
A special shout-out to Front Office Manager Shameka Nicole Winters. She was everything our chaperones and students needed. She was kind, always smiling, and asking what she or her staff could do to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. She also helped to accommodate some extreme situations with her candor and professionalism. The other front desk staff were just as helpful and supportive, as we had some challenging situations arise within our group.
The maintenance man who had to come deal with multiple clogged toilets due to the low/weak water pressure in the toilets was a champ. Also, we had a room with a leaking sink that created a pool of flooding water not only in the bathroom but also in the hotel room and in the hallway. He was always there with his tools and his can-do attitude and handled everything with professionalism and grace.
Convenient
Consistent with pleasant service staff
Exit from the hotel is difficult during rish hour
Didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel, as it was crowded each morning.
Hôtel très agréable et propre. Grande chambre et très bon petit déjeuner. Personnel agréable
There was a ticking , dripping noise coming from the wall between the bedroom and the bathroom. The noise was not constant but was intermittent mostly during the night
Location
Small and not that confortable
The hotel itself was good — clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed our stay and had no issues with the room or amenities.
However, there are a couple of drawbacks worth mentioning. Parking is not free; and... More concerning was the parking lot security. I had read previous guest reviews mentioning cars being left on blocks after their wheels were stolen. On our second night, it actually happened right next to our car — burglars removed all four wheels from the vehicle parked beside ours. We were relieved it wasn’t ours, but it was still a stressful and disappointing experience. I felt sorry for the owners of that car.
The closeness to the Gaylord in the national harbor and the clean and fresh it smelled.
Had an accessible room but no bar near the toilet to help me stand up once I sat down. Elevator to the left jerks you
And you pay for parking and I couldn't get a handicapped parking space.
Literally everything
Literally nothing
Quick checking.
Having to pay to park even though we were paying for a room.
